The most important cake of the year - my daughter’s. My cake journey started 9 years ago when I decided I wanted her to always have a very special cake, and this year is no different. So here is her 10th birthday cake!

Every Christmas I dust off the old apron for two special girls. First up my niece who has her birthday on Christmas Day. This is her cake this year!
Hi folks, you may have noticed it's been a bit quiet on here lately. I have taken the decision to take a break from cake making for a while, and therefor from 31st December my books are officially closed. Thank you all for your support and orders over the last couple of years, it's been a great experience and one I've learned a huge amount from. Best wishes to you all for 2014 # # #

Hope you'll all be able to support this very worthwhile cause tomorrow at The Hilcroft Hotel. There will be various stalls and a spectacular raffle with some amazing prizes including a giant cupcake voucher from yours truly!!!

I've been trying for a while to perfect my giant cupcake and I think I've finally cracked it! So here is my interpretation of a giant Chocolate Heaven cupcake. Chocolate sponge filled and covered with chocolate buttercream and topped with Cadbury Wispa bites and Cadbury Caramel nibbles. Not for the faint hearted!! (Sweeties can be altered to suit individual tastes!)
This week is all about cupcakes, with one giant Chocolate Heaven, and several batches of regular sized cupcakes too! Photos to follow xx
