Life is for living…. Getting up at 5.15am in the mornings again made me realize exactly how much of Life I was actually missing out on!

How much one can achieve in a day when you wake up and take action while the city sleeps!

On this Sunday evening I am so grateful for having the physical and mental ability to do this.

Every day I wake up and put my two feet on the ground I say to myself……..

“Yesss, today is another day I get to have a shot at life!”

And with that… I will see all of our amazing clients bright and early for our energizing session at 6.30am!

Success in weight loss is not always an easy thing to achieve, you will be told that taking action on various different goals week in and week out will get you there.

Whilst this is factual, its emotionless and doesn't take into consideration our mental state OR what we are going through in our lives.

Guaranteed that 99% of people reading this knows exactly what they have to do to hit a target..... lets put it to the test....

Exercise Daily
Eat in a Calorie Deficit
Burn more energy than you take in
Choose to eat healthy meals
Track Calories

See? You knew these things already! So then why do we still struggle? Why do we still choose not to take these actions?

The answer is going to be different for everyone, however, it comes down to the need to self sabotage.

More often than not, the need to self sabotage comes from your mental state and your inner belief system.

If we are self sabotaging, we are not motivated to achieve a goal. We know that we want to lose weight, we are aware of how we are feeling daily, we know what we need to do to get there and yet we dont take any action.......

This all comes from our lack of happiness - whether that be in life or in ourselves.

So weight loss is not just as simple as following steps every single day for everyone, as a coach, it has to be personalised for each individual client.

Taking into consideration their mental state, their life as a whole and who they truly believe themselves to be.

Be kind to yourself if you have not hit a target yet, YOU WILL.

How to lose 2-4lbs in one week…..

Set 3 Goals:
1) Replace carbs for protein at breakfast

2) Whatever exercise you did last week, Do a little bit more this week.

Example- If you didn’t do any exercise last week but go for two walks this week, your already doing 100% more than you did the week before.

3) Change 1 Nutrition habit, this could be:

Reduce portion sizes at dinner .. for example

I have yet to see a client of mine fail to lose weight in week one from simply just following these 3 aims.

Not focussing on anything else in your lifestyle here, just these 3 things.

Most of my clients lost closer to the 4 Lbs in week 1 from following these 3 aims so from my own coaching experience of clients…

The results here are proven!

I am taking on 3 new clients in the next 2 weeks.

Because the service I offer to my clients is extremely personalized and 1-1. I can only take on so many clients at any one time.

This allows me to give the necessary attention to my clients giving them the best opportunity for success.

I have 3 spots open as of last week where 3 ladies completed their 12 weeks.

Client 1: Sharon - Sharon was an absolute dream to coach every single week and she achieved 2 Stone weight loss over her 12 weeks. 💪🏻💪🏻

Client 2: Aisling - Aisling runs her own business and is a mother of 3 young children. She truly is a very busy lady indeed and she achieved 20lbs weight loss in her 12 weeks. 👏👏

What, have I told myself, is not for me because of my weight?

To create permanent, lasting change, we need to get a lot deeper and truer with ourselves.

The things we see on the surface, whats bothering us, are just that: on the surface, superficial..

Deep down, we must understand how much our lack of self confidence because of our weight has greatly impacted our lives in order for us to change.

Below are some questions that I use with my clients to elicit a response on a much deeper psychological level.

How do I feel at dinnertime?
What do I avoid because of my weight?
What daily thoughts do I have about my weight?
How do I feel about the clothes that I wear?
What do I feel when going clothes shopping?
How do I really and honestly feel about myself?

These questions are pointless without a goal of change in mind. These questions are not to create self negativity, but rather, to help you understand your current negativity at a deeper level with the goal of improving and becoming a better version of you.

If you want to understand your reason why.... the reason why you want change.... get real personal by grabbing a pen and paper and start to answer some of these questions.

Write this out longhand, don't type it out on a computer keyboard, as theres a subconscious link between thought and expression when pen meets paper.

Take your time.

Think about your life as it is now.

This is not an easy exercise by any means, it may take some time..... but keep writing until you are finally being honest with yourself.

The stronger the impact this has, the better... you may want to cry and the more honest you are the more rewarding this exercise will be for you.

This is about making a personal change where it starts to count.

However life is treating you, your feelings about it are justified.

Don’t beat yourself up for feeling down or for closing in on yourself a bit.

This is a very normal feeling and if we feel like this sometimes, it is okay to take some time for self care and it is okay to not be okay while you are hurting.

Some of our greatest battles are with ourselves so remember not to make permanent decisions based on temporary feelings.

Take the time you need to unpack your feelings to bring back a sense of calm and always remember to check back in when you are ready.
