I remember people used to say, "Wait until you turn 40. Your eyes will be the first to go." Well, it took until I turned 50. The world started making the small print smaller. I'm blaming 'wanting to fit more words on the paper' as the reason. The fact of the matter is that no matter how healthy we are, if we live long enough, we will need readers, lose some hearing and have a bit of arthritis at some point. None of those is a reason to slow down...or stop living.
