We visited Pippa Middleton and Sir Steve Redgrave to sign these ski chairs for Disability Snowsport UK - and raised £1600 for the Paralympic athletes including Menna Fitzpatrick & Jennifer Kehoe who are on their way to South Korea this year.We are very proud to know and support these amazing women so very happy to raise so much - Go girls!!!!

We've made a fab 'The White One' ski chair for DSUK as part of our 2018 'Celebrity Ski Chair' fundraising programme using Sir Steve Redgrave signed skis - its on show at Chill Factore for the next couple of months so go check it out - you can win it in the DSUK raffle - we delivered it in the December snow so got some great shots on location up north

These '100 days to Go' Ski chairs were auctioned off at a fundraising dinner in November to raise money for the UK Paralympic team going to South Korea this coming year - we raised £1600 for the athletes and had a great evening! We were there as part of Team Menna Fitzpatrick and Jennifer Kehoe - go girls! The chairs were signed by the DSUK athletes and charity patrons Pippa Middleton and Sir Steve Redgrave and the race skis were kindly donated by Ski Bartlett

We made this chair for a client in december as a present for her husband using their old family skis - it looked great but the photo was taken at 10pm in their parking area so doesn't really do it justice!

Après Skis - our story
‘Après Skis’ by Kicking Horse Powder Tours is a range of ski chairs, ski tables, ski benches, ski coat racks, ski ski-racks, drinking ‘shot skis’ and pretty much whatever else you can think of that can incorporate skis in their design!
Why? – Well, whenever we’ve been out and about in ski resorts and ski towns in Europe & Nth America over the last few years we’ve see loads of great classic ski chairs and ‘shot skis’ in the local bars. Envious of this ‘old ski stuff ‘ we decided to make some for ourselves & once we did this all our friends wanted some – so, we thought…why not make some fun stuff to sell?
So now on our travels and at home we search throughout Europe and Nth America for both classic, retro and new skis and skiing parafanelia with which to make items. From old school Atomics, Fischers & Dynastars to more modern day skis from Salomon & Rossignol there’s something to appeal to skiing fans both young and old.
If you have some old skis in the loft or garage give us a call – we are always looking to buy new stock to turn into things…
