Have you ever wandered past an old building and wondered what it looks like inside?

You can get the chance to see beyond the front door of many of Fife’s historic and interesting buildings this month with the return of Doors Open Day (DOD).

DOD is Scotland’s biggest festival celebrating our heritage and the buildings around us, and it’s all for FREE! It runs over three weekends, starting on 4th September, with buildings in east Fife.

This year many venues will welcome back members of the public following the relaxation of Covid restrictions. Others will offer virtual access to an online audience, just as they did last year, making it possible to pay a visit from wherever you are in Fife or, indeed, the world!

DOD runs over three weekends, starting on Saturday 4th September:
• 4th - 5th September - East Fife
• 11th - 12th September - Central Fife
• 18th - 19th September - West Fife

Visit www.fife.gov.uk/fifeheritage/blog/doors-open-days-2021 to download the brochure and get details of all the venues taking part this year, along with information on how to book places.
