I cannot recommend busking enough to anyone who is looking to either start music or who already plays gigs. I gig most weekends but nothing brings me more joy than busking. It's the best practice room in the world. No excuses to do the the washing up or make another brew. You just sit for two hours and play. People interact with you in a way they don't in a pub and sometimes connect with the music even more. Yesterday I played my own music and a lovely fella snapped these shots for me.

We're really excited to have Jennie Wren play an acoustic set for us this Friday: our first ever live music event at Stonewell Spring! We're not part of Lancaster Music Festival this year, but if all goes well we'd very much like to be in the future!

Please do come down and join us on Friday: Jennie is a fantastic musician and a great supporter of new local acts and live music.

Ok folks happy to announce we have a new venue and first show booked for “Your Own Stuff” which will now be at the the last Thursday of month. We have an all new lineup for you and so many more great acts to explore so keep the original music coming. I’ve noticed so many more acts recording and releasing music and it’s worth celebrating! Well done everyone who contributes to new music.

“All together now” piano night is back. This time I’ll be warming the crowed up with a first set of ballads from Adele to Robbie Williams followed by the usual classic tunes for all to enjoy joining in on. We’ve had some bloody marvellous nights doing this and we can’t wait to be back. But ultimately I can’t wait to have the pleasure of singing along side the coolest kid in town!
