Last year Electronics department organized MESPEC’11, which showcased a huge variety of hardware and software projects. The projects covered almost all fields of electronics engineering. MESPEC’11 brought out the technical side of the participants and also provided the junior batches to learn and understand the technology trends. Theme

Continuing with last year’s tradition MESPEC’12 will be held in the Department of Electronic Engineering. This will provide the electronic students an opportunity to show their practical skills in the field of project making. Students will have exposure of their talent and they can be guided further to improve their performance by our evaluators/ visitors. This exhibition will create sense of competition among junior batches as well. Junior batches will also be encouraged to participate in these competitions. Primary reason to hold this competition is to prepare our students to represent their university at national/international level exhibitions/competitions. The judges’ decision will be final, and cannot be challenged. Participants must mention separately in writing if they require a 220 V and DC power supply will be provided.All other tools are the responsibility of participants themselves. Participants must visit the competition premises a day before the event maximum by 3:00PM to setup their projects. Participants must reach the venue at least one and half hour before the start time to be able to perform last-minute checks on their projects. At least one team member must be present at all times at the project display during evaluation. All the teams are required to bring Technical Details of their project along with hardware (project report). You can display a poster related to your project. The poster, however, must not exceed a horizontal length of 2ft and vertical length of 4 ft. You must bring all the required accessories to hang or stick the poster. The representatives should observe formal attire. Discipline should be maintained at all times. Failure to do so would result in immediate disqualification and removal from the premises. Project competition organizing committee reserves the right to amend any rules and regulations without any prior notice. Evaluation Criteria

Projects will be graded for:

Ingenuity and creativity
Complexity of design
Participants technical knowledge of the design
User friendliness of the product
Appearance / aesthetics of the project/ soldering / connectivity
