Sawyer is a very loving and cuddly cat. She can be a bit shy at first but LOVES curling up on your lap with a fuzzy blanket. She absolutely loves playing with her spring toy and is a fiend for any treats. She's a very easy, wonderful cat, who would enjoy another kitty friend, but would be completely fine being a single lady. 💜

Sawyer came to us last year as a teeny, tiny kitten and has still not found her forever family. She is a beautiful, spunky, playful little lady that is so deserving of a family to love her.

"A raccoon recently caught by the Cumberland County Animal Services tested positive for rabies, which puts many local animals at risk of catching it too. Fortunately, you can protect your pet with $5 1-year vaccinations.The county government is urging all pet owners in the community to check the rabies vaccination status of all their pets. If your fur baby is not vaccinated or is due for a booster, now is the time to do so.

According to Cumberland County Animal Services, “Pet owners can bring their pet to Animal Services Wednesdays from 2 to 4 p.m. and get a 1-year rabies vaccination for $5. Animal Services is located at 4704 Corporation Dr., Fayetteville.”

It's ✨Senior Sunday✨ so who better to feature than the Lovely Aunt Lydia ??

Aunt Lydia is easily one of our easiest kitty residents in her advanced age of 16+. She has a wonderful disposition for a chill home. She currently lives with several other cats and respectful dogs, and peacefully coexists with everyone. Despite this, it seems Lydia is content with being an introvert; socializing in short bursts as she watches the younger kitties play. She's the purr-fect roommate!

🌟Aunt Lydia prefers the simple things in life; a cozy bed, chin and head scratches, some sunshine to sleep in, and a full food dish. She wont mind keeping your spot in bed warm while you are at work for the day. Aunt Lydia enjoys occasionally chasing the red dot of a laser pointer and batting at a feather wand, but most other toys are uninteresting.
🌟Dear Aunt Lydia does have a few notable health concerns as any elderly pet does. Don't stop reading here!! They've been easily managed by her foster mama, and we are confident that you can manage them too. Our sweet little friend suffers from arthritis in her hips, which she receives monthly Solensia injections for. Solensia has been an AMAZING addition to her routine care, and has given her back her zest for life and keeps her feeling comfy without the need for daily pain meds. Lydia is also on twice daily medication to control seizures. She's a pro at taking her meds, and has been seizure free, and remained seizure free, since onboarding medication. (This will be a lifelong medication)

We would love to see this gentle lady find her forever retirement home for her remaining years. Do you or someone you know desire a furry roomie to keep you company? Lydia wants you to know she doesn't take up much space, and she promises to be VERY QUIET 🤫 Please send us a message to learn more.

Another round of puppy vaccines today with Mama Maple, Toast, Waffles and Muffin.
The cutie babies are ready for their very own Foster or Foster to Adopt homes in the greater Fort Liberty area. They have a few more visits left before they are fully adoptable, but are accepting applications now.
Mama Maple is *NOT* ready for her forever home yet, as she still needs to undergo heartworm treatment. Stay tuned for her progress!

Ready for adoption now! Sassy, spunky Sawyer loves to play fetch and play with toys. She also enjoys snuggling on the couch or in bed, and especially loves fluffy blankets. She is super sweet with people and well behaved with children, other cats and dogs.
Sawyer takes a little bit of time to warm up to new friends, but does best with a kitty companion to play with.
