2024 IEEE 10th International Conference on Smart Instrumentation, Measurement and Applications (ICSIMA 2024)
Bandung, Indonesia, 30 - 31 July 2024
The Conference focuses on all aspects of instrumentation and measurement science and technology–research, development, and applications.

The IEEE I2MTC – International Instrumentation and Measurement Technology Conference – is the flagship conference of the IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society and is dedicated to advances in measurement methodologies, measurement systems, instrumentation and sensors in all areas of science and technology. These features make I2MTC a unique event and one of the most important conferences in the field of instrumentation and measurement.
2023 IEEE I2MTC was successfully held from 22-25 May 2023 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. The conference was organized by IEEE Instrumentation & Measurement Society and co-chaired by Prof. Dr. Kushsairy Abdul Kadir and Dr. Robiah Ahmad. There were total of 308 participants with 279 papers presented at the conference and all participants attending and presented in person. On the first day of the conference, 38 registered participants joined a technical tour to Putrajaya Corporation’s complex where a one-hour presentation on Putrajaya smart city was presented by Mr. Mohd. Musabri Shaharom, Senior Assistant Director, Information and Communication Technology Division. The tour started with the presentation, then the participants were brought to the command centre to see all the smart city in action. Then participants were brought to Putra Mosque and Perdana Putra for a short sightseeing.
Three keynote sessions were presented throughout the four days event. The first keynote speaker was Prof. Ir. Dr. Sevia Mahdaliza Idrus Sutan Nameh with her session on “Calibration and Standardisation Of High Precision Foreign Object Debris Detection Radar Sensor For Airport Runway Safety and Surveillance”. Another keynote session was presented by Prof. Dr. Eros Pasero on “Artificial Intelligence and Medicine 4.0: the new frontier” and the third session was presented by Mr. Sharul A Rashid on the topic “Remote Operation of Regasification Terminal Sg Udang, Melaka”.
The conference gala dinner was held on the third night of the conference at Grand Hyatt Hotel. In addition to regular papers, many initiatives and opportunities such as industry sessions, exhibits, tutorials, demos, I&M patents, student contests, TIM journal papers, and others we conducted to enhance the experience with the conference and will make I2MTC 2023 a vibrant event to meet with people in Instrumentation and Measurement.
