We know that everyone loves Ivy Provisions sandwiches, but not everyone knows that IVP also has very good wine. IVP will be doing FREE rosé tastings every Wednesday in April from 2pm to close! The wines in the tasting will also be available by the glass, so something to keep in mind if a fear of finals is starting to hit you (or if you are a 3L with truly nothing to do).

Live in one of the United States? I know you do! If you're looking for a legislative hook to go with your drinking, check out this write-up of pending state booze bills and maybe call your representatives! I'll be giving Terry a ring to ask him to veto.

Sunny Saturday Afternoon Wine Tasting - Market Street Wine Shops 01/10/2016

Happy weekend, winos! One of my favorite pastimes on a lazy Saturday is driving around Charlottesville and stopping at all the free Saturday tastings at various wine shops. I think I'll be doing it this afternoon. As a public service, and to show folks what's out there to taste, I'll happily take the first two or three people who respond with me! I'll even pick you up. Planning on heading out around 2:30, and stopping here (http://marketstreetwine.com/sunny-saturday-afternoon-wine-tasting/) among three or four other spots. Let me know if you want to join, or if you just want to know the route!

And remember to take our survey! https://goo.gl/forms/lp4SVf7ASIGNuHhu2

Virginia Law Wine Society Survey 28/09/2016

Thanks so much to everyone who came out to our Cheap Wine Tasting last Friday. I had a great time, and I've heard that you did, too! A whole lot of you have asked us what's next, and the truth is that if you all stay interested in learning more about (and drinking more) wine, the sky's the limit.

To help us chart our path to vino paradiso, please fill out this survey. It'll take you about five minutes, and we really really care what you think. We can't announce our next event until we get a good response rate. Please answer as many questions as you can, and be thoughtful about what you want. The survey link is here: https://goo.gl/forms/EZ1kevtmiLk34W9o1.

As always, let me know if you have any questions, and happy drinking!
