Virginia Law Wine Society
VLWS is a social organization at UVA Law that provides students with an environment in which to socialize and learn more about wine and local wineries.
Although this organization has members who are University of Virginia students and may have University employees associated or engaged in its activities and affairs, the organization is not a part of or an agency of the University. It is a separate and independent organization, which is responsible for and manages its own activities and affairs. The University does not direct, supervise or control the organization and is not responsible for the organization’s contracts, acts or omissions.

Hey everyone! One last reminder of our Regional Wine Tasting event TONIGHT in the Pavilion @ North Grounds Lobby, 7-9pm. We'll have wines from several different French wine regions. You'll get to learn more about each region, while most importantly, taste some of our favorite wines!

We know that everyone loves Ivy Provisions sandwiches, but not everyone knows that IVP also has very good wine. IVP will be doing FREE rosé tastings every Wednesday in April from 2pm to close! The wines in the tasting will also be available by the glass, so something to keep in mind if a fear of finals is starting to hit you (or if you are a 3L with truly nothing to do).

Happy weekend, winos! One of my favorite pastimes on a lazy Saturday is driving around Charlottesville and stopping at all the free Saturday tastings at various wine shops. I think I'll be doing it this afternoon. As a public service, and to show folks what's out there to taste, I'll happily take the first two or three people who respond with me! I'll even pick you up. Thanks so much to everyone who came out to our Cheap Wine Tasting last Friday. I had a great time, and I've heard that you did, too! A whole lot of you have asked us what's next, and the truth is that if you all stay interested in learning more about (and drinking more) wine, the sky's the limit.
