Lub-dub, lub-dub, is that the heart course I hear on Valentines Day? Students are learning more about how the heart works while exercising.

Also, shout out to Mr. Gannon Rand, a student teacher from UW-Whitewater. He will be at Roosevelt until the end of March. He’s off to a great start.

The annual Fifth Grade vs Staff softball game is always a highlight of the year!

The fourth grade track meet was so awesome (other than the lake flies!!) So proud of all the Rough Riders!!

What a great day for the fifth grade track meet. Tomorrow is the fourth grade. Great to be back finally at Monterey for both grades!! 👍🏼

Another year of rollerblading is in the books. Amazing to see the improvement and confidence students get throughout the week. So fun to see the older students helping out the younger students.

2023 Jump Rope Contest is in the books. Congratulations to all the students who qualified. Marlow Dykeman was the champion. 👏🏻🏆

We are off and rolling in the 2022-2023 school year. 😁

Yesterday was our 5th grade track meet. It was really nice to be back at Monterey Staduim competing with other schools.

We ended the day today with our Jump Rope Contest. There were 18 contestants made up of 3rd, 4th and 5th graders who qualified during PE classes. Brynley, a third grader, jumped the longest without missing and won!
Proud of them all!!

Check out our new piece of playground equipment at Roosevelt This is Grant’s Gaga Pit. The kids love the new game called Gaga Ball. Many hands went into making this awesome memorial for Grant Mullen. ❤️

Had some exciting news today. Emma broke the school third grade girls record in the PACER test. She did awesome!
