More than a Game!
Tonight was not a fun night to coach football, alot of emotions and life lessons. Thank you to our great school community and most of all our players. As tough as is was to coach tonight, I'm very proud of our student athletes and those from Clsyton who put it on the line. Football is the 1 sport that mirrors life to a tee. Continued prayers to the Clayton community and thank you to all the players who went out there tonight and put it all out there. Tonight there was. O loser in the game of life. So proud of both teams and communities.
From the football staff thank you to everyone who helped a fellow community cope with 2 very big loses. I am very proud of the Bruce School, community, and athletes. I hope that this game helped those in the Clayton community cope in this tough time. Sometimes football does teach us some very powerful life lessons.
The Raiders Football Team will wear the Numbers of the 2 Clayton athletes/students who lost their lives earlier this week on their helmets for tonight's football game vs Clayton.
The Football team starting conducting their team fundraiser a while back. These are the people who's names have been picked and need to pay in the amount of money as the day they were picked. Athletes should be coming around to pick up this money and then your name will be entered into the end of the season drawing for 4 $200 prizes. Thank you again for supporting.
