TRADE ANNOUNCEMENT!!! The Sicamous Eagles have made a trade with the SJHL Weyburn Red Wings. The Red Wings will be acquiring 2006 born Power Foward Hayden Evans of Revelstoke BC in exchange for Future Considerations. Hayden played a cruicial part in the Eagles successful season last year and he will be missed in the locker room. Good Luck in your future endeavours. The Sicamous Eagles are excited to announce we have made a three way trade to acquire '04 born Colton Fleming from the Quesnel River Rush. Colton will spend his last year in the KIJHL in the communtity where he grew up. Last year Colton was a force to be reckoned with as a Defenceman for the North Okanagan Knights. When he is not blocking shots, or clearing the debris infront of the net, Colton is setting his teammates up for the game winning goal. For this transaction to take place, Coach McOnie worked a little overtime with the other teams to get the three players where they need to be. 2004 born Defenceman Eli Neilsen will be heading to Quesnel River Rush and 2004 Born Forward Luke Rothfos will be heading to the Fernie Ghost Riders. Steve Starkey from the Swansea Point Volunteer Fire Department was the big winner at Tuesdays game, he was the first person to sink an Eagle Egg in the Eagle Valley Pharmacy I.D.A. & The Flower Shop Eagle Egg Toss event this season.
