We pulled together to make some fun bookmarks for friends and family this Christmas 😂
I’m sure she won’t forgive me when she’s older but I think they are fantastic!

Morning smoothie!!!!!

Today we went for a more yoghurty smoothie because there was some yoghurt left from freezing it into cubes 😂

Handful of celery
1 teaspoon of ginger chopped
4 strawberries
4 banana slices
4 cubes of mango
Handful of orange segments
1 teaspoon of matcha tea powder
3 tablespoons yoghurt
Add a little water to keep the mix smooth and blend to whatever consistency your small human or you like!

Milas having sips while also dancing around the living room 😂😂😂

We don’t do dairy 🙄 so it’s a soy based plain yoghurt today for us but I’m sure it will be just as good with a yummy Greek yoghurt!

Smoothies smoothies it’s all about frozen smoothies!

All the fruit I use in Milas smoothies are frozen this means it’s nice and cold and no food ever gets wasted.

Today’s smoothie consists of:

4 Segments of orange.
4 raspberries
2 strawberries (from the garden)
3 cubes of mango
2 slices of banana
2 slices cucumber
A teaspoon of ginger
A tablespoon of celery.

I then added a little yoghurt and some orange juice and blits it in the machine!
Ill start popping up more smoothies recipes since it’s got outside and this sweet savoury smoothie didn’t last 5 minutes once she got her hands on it haha!

I also add her vitamin drops or any supplements she might need that day in too… ❤️

If you try it let me know how your small people liked it?!

It’s not pretty but will make for some lovely sandwiches, pea and ham soup and salads!
Gammon joints are so useful if you don’t eat a lot of meat. This piece for me and Mila should hopefully do 4 soup bowls, a load of breakfast muffins and enough left for some sandwiches or salads! Yummmm!!!

Frugal noodles over here! Hahaha

From left to right we have some oils and vinegar êtes for when you’ve got a little gathering… basil oil, chilli oil and a chive flower dressing from our own chive flowers! It smells amazing, we can’t wait to try it!

Mummy’s at it again with the meal prep so Mila-George decided she also wants to join in! She’s done a great job with her hand eye coordination.
More recipes soon hopefully and some yummy salad dressings.

Nice easy dairy free lunch!

So tonight we have pitas with garlic and coriander, beetroot falafel with some garlic and herb dip and steamed broccoli! Time to make some mini sandwiches! Took 15 minutes and dinner was served! We’ve been put all day long and now I’m a very tired mummy so healthy and lazy meals make me very happy!

I ended up making cheese and onion dairy free scones instead of muffins!
Easy to pop in the toaster for a minute and then add some spread and you’ve got a quick snack in those moments when your small human can’t wait because their clearly wasting away and starving 🙄😂 (she’s not but her acting is 10/10).

So we have a watermelon, strawberry, celery and banana smoothies!

Some apple sauce with cinnamon, Milas teeth are once again playing up and cinnamon is great for some natural healing and swellings.

And then we have crispy bacon for some savoury muffins with sundries tomato’s and vegan cheese!

Hope I haven’t started something I won’t be able to finish 😂😂😂

This is all hoping that the kitchen will stay clean for longer and I won’t need to spend any longer than 15 mins making Milas lunches.

Cauliflower carbonara was so much better than I thought it would be! I will definitely suggest it for anyone cutting down on dairy or with food Allergies!

Cauliflower is great for so many reasons, my personal favourites being for a healthy heart and it’s great to balance out any crazy monthly hormones or toddler ones too!

1 whole Cauliflower, -boiled then pop in the blender.
3 garlic cloves,- chopped and fried with extra virgin olive oil
Also pop into the blender.
1 cup dairy free milk ( we went for oat milk instead of rice milk).
Add some water from your cauliflower boiling to the mix and blitz till smooth.
I’d suggest adding pepper and herbs afterwards as your lovely creamy mix might start to look a bit dirty hahaaha!

I added some chorizo for a little meaty flavour and Mila had some of the oils on hers from where it had been fried. If your bobble likes lardons or chorizo feel free to add to theirs too, Milas just really not fussed by it unless it’s in risotto 😂😂
I can imagine some ham could also work really nicely.

Let me know if you try it and what your family think?!
