Congratulations to all of our Wildcat swimmers on a great weekend of swimming at State!!!

State was a weekend full of cheering and excitement!!!

Congrats to our Wildcat State medal winners!!!! Riley took 5th in the Fly. Lincoln took 4th in the 50 Free and Breaststroke events. Avah won the Silver 🥈 in the Backstroke and won Gold 🥇in the 100 Free. To cap the night, the 400 Freestyle Relay Team with Riley, Sienna, Brooke, and Avah won the Bronze 🥉!!! Great swimming Wildcats!!!

Last update for the day. Girls 400 relay team advances and will swim for gold tomorrow. Boys 400 relay team also advances and will swim tomorrow.

Third update. Jack advances in the 500 Free. The girls and boys 200 Free relay teams advance and will swim tomorrow. Avah advances in the Back and will swim for gold tomorrow. Lincoln advances in the Breast and will also swim for gold tomorrow.

Another update. Riley advances in the Fly and will swim for Gold tomorrow. In the 100 Free, Sienna and Avah advance and Avah will swim for Gold tomorrow.

Halftime of the preliminary round. The girls and boys medley relay teams advance and will swim again tomorrow. Brooke and Jack advance in the 200 Free. Finn advances in the IM. Riley advances in the 50 Free. Lincoln advances in the 50 Free and will swim for Gold tomorrow! Go Wildcats!

This years 3A High School State Championship Swim Meet is set! The top 32 athletes will swim in the preliminary round next Friday (16th) with the top 16 then advancing to the final round on Saturday (17th). Congratulations to our 17 Wildcat swimmers that qualified for State! Check out these psych sheets. We have a couple swimmers ranked in the top 5. Swim fast at State Wildcats!!!!

And for the third time today, another new RHS Record Alert!!!! With a time of 1:03.51 Lincoln sets a new record in the Breaststroke beating the old record of 1:03.68 set back in 2000. Way to go Lincoln!!!!

New RHS Record Alert! With a time of 56.24 Avah sets a new record in the 100 Free beating the old record set in 2014. She wins Gold at the Region 12 Championship meet!

RHS Swim is Team Henry! We love our teammate and wish Henry a full recovery from all his health challenges. Henry is in need of a new kidney. Please keep him and his family in your prayers. Get well soon Henry!

Congrats to Sienna, Riley, Brooke, and Avah on winning the Girls 400 Yard Free Relay at yesterdays Last Chance Invite in Carbon. Our Medley Relay Team with Kylee, Avah, Riley, and Brooke also won their event. As a team, our Wildcats finished 3rd!

Our swimmers will be back in the competition pool on Friday (2nd) in Cedar City for this years Region 12 Championship Meet. Please come spend the day in Cedar and cheer loud for all of our Wildcat swimmers!

With State just around the corner, will any new Richfield High School swim records be set this year? The girls 200 Free, 100 Back, and 200 IM and the boys 100 Breast times are all in jeopardy of being broke this year. Will Michael’s 24 year old Breast record be broke? We have a couple swimmers that have these records in their sights and within an arms reach! Stay tuned as the end of this season will be fun and exciting to watch. Go Wildcats!

On Senior Night, our Wildcats swam great against Union and Hurricane! Congrats to all seven of our Seniors! Our athletes will be back in the pool this next week at North Sanpete on Tuesday and at Carbon on Saturday. Keep working hard and swimming fast Wildcats!
