July’s Mindful Recap ✨

💗Spend more time in nature- Before my 3rd baby was born, we spent a lot more time outdoors. Getting back to that and realizing just how much I missed it.

💗Schedule breaks and fun- Sounds silly but if I don’t schedule breaks, time-off, or fun— it just won’t happen. Don’t let hustle culture get the best of you.

💗Create more, consume less- Easier said than done. We all get caught up with mindless scrolling but if you spend your time creating, there’s literally no time to consume.

💗Focus on family, nurture motherhood- Turn off the outside noise and spend quality time with your family. Being in “boss” mode is hard because it isn’t in complete alignment with me. I find myself constantly searching for balance and allowing myself to nurture my loved ones helps me regain sight of why I do what I do and access my feminine energy.

5 things I’ve learned from running a bridal/beauty team:

1️⃣ It’s NOT for everyone 🙅🏻‍♀️: You have to have a specific type of personality to actually want this. If you don’t enjoy managing personalities, then it’s a BIG nope for you.

2️⃣ Trust your judgement: Always. Period.

3️⃣ Prioritize your mental health: No, like actively put yourself first. Plan it, schedule it, whatever- just do it.

4️⃣ Go with the flow: Yep, flow with it. Don’t sweat the small stuff and keep going.

5️⃣ Pivot when necessary: Something not working out for you, change it— and if that doesn’t work out, change it again.

There’s so many ways to profit in our industry- don’t assume you have to fit the mold and do what everyone else is doing. Follow your own path and if you don’t know where you’re going just take it one step at a time ✨.
