As our Senior Maintenance Technician/Electrician, you will be a part of our fantastic Facilities team and will be responsible for making sure the factory’s premises and equipment are in great shape and top working order. You will use your skills to carry out extensive and continuous maintenance work on machinery, including repairing broken structures and devices. You’ll follow diagrams, operation manuals, manufacturer’s specifications and federal, state and local city codes in maintaining, fixing, and troubleshooting our plant equipment and machines. Electrical and mechanical troubleshoot needing – you’ll be diagnosing the problem, and resolving it as quickly as possible! The pay rate for this position is $30.00 - $36.50/hr based on experience and shift worked.

Here are some examples of job duties:

Operate mechanical tools and equipment as required to fabricate or repair industrial parts and equipment
Troubleshoot equipment, primary wiring, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, or other mechanical systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical problems and perform root cause analysis, in partnership with Operations, to solve problems and make improvements
Provide support of start-up and installation of new equipment to ensure it meets all mechanical design specifications.
Interpret and reviews loops sheets, electrical schematics, P&IDs, I/O writing, and panel drawings.
Respond to site equipment and process alarms; troubleshoot and make repairs.
Maintain prints and records.
Prepare and complete written communications in strict compliance with all requirements.
Participate and lead in the instruction/training of new maintenance personnel.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Perform assigned duties with a high degree of proficiency and mindfulness of personal safety and that of those around you.
Qualifications:

Prior work experience as a high-level mechanical and electrical maintenance technician
Must have welding and fabricating experience
Proficient in operating computerized and non-computerized machines
Proven talent in troubleshooting, assessing, and repairing equipment
Must be able to prioritize workloads
Should have a very high degree of self-motivation
Must be able to lift medium to heavy objects and to perform physical activities to use, service, and install new parts in machines. This includes prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling
Must have mathematical and computer skills
Must be willing to work overtime or outside of normal schedule to meet the needs of the facility.

Job Summary:

The Facilities and Maintenance Manager will lead and direct the daily plant level activities of the Maintenance department and ensure that the plant maintains a positive and safe working environment. You will partner with the Plant Manager and our local management staff to develop and implement programs, processes, and actions, and to drive all facilities and maintenance activities.

Job Responsibilities:

- Supervises, plans, schedules and prioritizes work for all maintenance and tool room personnel, providing expertise and guidance in the performance of their function

- Coordinates outside contracting services for any work to the facilities or maintenance/engineering projects

- Manages all budgets relating to the maintenance department and all manufacturing maintenance accounts

- Continuously improve the preventative maintenance program in support of divisional/corporate Lean Initiatives, including root cause analysis. Administrator of CMMS (Computerized

- Maintenance Management System); establishes and maintains the PM program including planning, scheduling and prioritization of this system

- Accepts or rejects work orders, providing estimates for make/buy decisions.

- Approves and purchases repair parts, contractor work and work order materials

- Maintains contact with all environmental regulatory agencies, keeping informed from federal, state and local authorities on regulations regarding all aspects of environmental regulation.

- Ensures that environmental records are maintained and all requests for permits and reporting are completed on time

-Oversees the planning and coordination of tool room activities, including mfg. support activities for continuous improvement, safety, upkeep etc.

-Responsible for the development and administration and oversight of the Industrial Safety Programs and Procedures for facility including LOTO, Hoists and Cranes, Ladder, Forklift etc.
Preferred Experience:

A minimum of 5 years progressive experience in a Maintenance/Plant Engineering and environmental role in a manufacturing environment
Strong supervisory skills, including excellent organizational and communication skills
Previous hands-on maintenance background
Knowledge of CMMS system preferred
