Late Nights & Early Mornings with my Queen Koren Carelock. 😍🤎

OAN: After I’ve been sick on and off the past two weeks, it was good enjoy the city together the past two nights.

Today, I’m grateful for my wife Koren Carelock and two kids. This is the first and hopefully last Thanksgiving that I’m sick. For the past two weeks I’ve been in a minor battle with my health. Y’all please keep me in your prayers.

OAN: I’m praying for the people who are grieving around the holidays and sending love your way.

Whether is through prayer, meditation or reading His Word. Let’s prioritize our relationship with Jesus.

Today, we hope to see you virtually via YouTube for our Word on Wednesday Bible study. It starts tonight at 7:15 PM (CST).

Today, would’ve been my mother-in-love 75th birthday. I never got the pleasure to me her in person because she passed in 2010. However, I’m sure she would be proud of her daughter and how she is honoring her legacy on earth. Around noon I surprised my wife by rescheduling the rest of my meetings, took her out and we had “grown folks fun” all while celebrating her great mother.

OAN: And now you see where she get her good character and looks from. 🤎😉

I want to share this message with you starting today, November 1st - December 31st. WATCH GOD MOVE ON YOUR BEHALF!

I’m embracing this new season of my life. All my praying and working is paying off.

If they can’t get over your past they aren’t necessary for your future.

Never stop building to entertain the ill informed, or motive laden critics. Eventually your work will speak for you and their talk will dissipate as mist.

Life has taught me that there is sight in the silence.
It almost goes against our nature (in this pervasive social media culture) not to express, explain, persuade, defend, manage or clarify our position on any certain subject matter.
The temptation to protect our ego, our image, our narrative and our well manicured sense of self is innate. However, if we are willing to sit in discomfort, silence can be one of our greatest teachers and tools.

The most consequential opinion in your life is the opinion you have of yourself.

Thank God for another day.

If you see the church as a hospital there’s no need to get mad when people leave. Nobody in their right mind checks into an hospital to stay forever. They only go because they have a need and when it’s met they are gone.

On this Monday I challenge you to take a few minutes and experience time with God in the beauty of nature.

I’ve come to learn over the years that nature reveals to us God’s beauty, glory, power, wisdom, presence, creativity and most of all his loving care.
