“We don’t want to hold her back, but we don’t want to pressure her,” says Hayley Zorzi, mom and Atlanta-based Graphic Designer at Zorzi Creative. Hayley shares about following her daughter’s lead when it comes to potty training, as well as challenges on going through the process while pregnant with a second baby. “It’s going to be messy, but parents are used to cleaning up messes every day,” Hayley says.

“A big part of my journey was not being afraid to let her lead, and realizing that everyone has their own timeline,” says Ashlee Priester, mom and Senior Designer at Kids2. Ashlee talks about giving grace to her daughter and herself and learning to listen to your body.

“It’s not one size fits all, it’s different for every child,” says Allyson Stone, Founder and President of marketing firm Stoneshine Ventures. She shares her own story of potty training her own son—with a cup!—in hopes of offering conversation and support to other parents.
