Jonah raised $825 so far for his 1-in-a-1000 archery shoot. $400 of that will go to Master's Tool Box!

He shot all 1000 arrows between 10AM and 4:15PM on Saturday, November 20th.
Today is the Big Day. Jonah Hunter is shooting 1000 arrows for BGMC and Masters Tool Box.
North Central Royal Ranger Leaders have given $252 so far. Our goal is $1000.

Sioux Falls First is hosting a Leadership 102 & 202 Campout for Discovery Rangers and Adventure Rangers. This camp will be held in Harrisburg, SD. Boys will earn a Leadership Merit for completing the camp.
May 19-20, 2017. You can begin camp set up anytime after 2:00 PM that day.
The cost is $20, and this includes meals, which boys and leaders will prepare together.
I've included the brochure for you to print.

Did you hear? In an effort to simplify and expedite the process of presenting advancement awards to boys, the following
National Royal Rangers Ministry awards are no longer restricted and do not require an application be submitted to the national office: Discovery Rangers Gold Falcon & Gold Hawk, Adventure Rangers Adventure Bronze & Adventure Silver and the Expedition Rangers E1 & E2.
Since October 24, 2016, all award insignia for these awards may be purchased directly through My Healthy Church in the same manner as all other non-restricted insignia.

We had a great meeting this weekend in Mitchell! Thanks to the 8 men that attended- we had good discussion, fellowship, and dissemination of information. Most importantly, we focused on the idea of keeping the mission of Royal Rangers central to whatever we do! And- everyone got a big discount on Cabela's stuff! I will send out an email to everyone for a synopsis on what we went over.

Thanks to the North Dakota district for cohosting Ranger Basics/Ranger Essentials in Ellendale, ND last weekend! We had 12 in attendance, with 8 from South Dakota. Trained commanders make the best commanders! Make plans to attend NRMC in Huron this fall- there has been tremendous response, and there is a maximum number of trainees, so think about registering soon. I would hate for us to host it, and some of our men to not be able to attend if it fills up!!

Outpost Coordinators and Pastors: District meeting May 7 at Cabelas in Mitchell. We will meet at 11am to approx 2-3pm. There will be no cost to you, and we will provide lunch. Also, Cabelas will be offering the employee discount for the day to all who attend for purchasing gear for their outpost!!! We need to cover national updates on the ministry, training, future district camps, and a host of other topics to help you stay current and provide the best ministry to boys you can!
