The Great Brew Tour
Minnesota Nice Meets Wisconsin Craft Brewing!
So while we were celebrating the life of our brother Tony this weekend, it was discovered that Eagle Park Brewing made a beer called "Tony Had Hair in the 90s". They had it on tap at Sugar River Pizza, and we managed to kill the keg.
Tony's funeral is at 11AM today. If you can't join us, please know that it will be live streamed. Click the link to get to the stream.

Hi, Wisconsin Beer Lovers. With an extremely heavy heart, I need to tell you that our brother, Tony, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday morning. He was the heart of our group, created our logo, helped to plan our trips, and put a smile on the face of everybody he met. The world will not be the same without him, and our grief is raw and painful as I write this. Please send prayers to Tony's family and raise a glass of your best Wisconsin beer in his honor.

In a few years when people are asking why craft beer didn't take off in Wisconsin like it did in Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan, and Iowa, remember the actions that the Tavern League of Wisconsin and other lobbying groups took to stifle innovation and expansion in the industry. If you can, take action now to stop them.
Unbelievably, no member of The Great Brew Tour has ever attended the Great Taste of the MidWest. That ends on Saturday. JRob and the lovely Debra will be in Madison this weekend and couldn't be more excited! A big thanks to AGod for the tickets and the opportunity to go.

Stop #2- House of Brews where we had a great visit with Page and had couple pints of decliciousness. Stop #3- we headed over to Wisconsin Brewing Company and got the Mack-Daddy tour from Kirby himself. Last Thursday we ended our busy day of touring at the O'so Brewing Company - Tap House in Plover, WI. We had a great visit with Marc and Katina, got to see the brewery, tried some of the 40 Wisconsin beers they have on tap, and even got to try some barrel aged doppelbock and lambic. A great end to a great day!
