Today, we spent the day at Australian Zoo! We’ve seen everything and will now be able to remember everything! We will be leaving the Sunshine Coast after four days and will stay at Treasure Island Caravan An Tourist Park which we stayed at four years ago. We got to catch up with family and not much else with the unfortunate cold, rainy weather. Overall it’s been a great time.
Sorry for not posting on over two weeks! We have been full of fun activities and these are just some of them!
In the past eight days we’ve done a lot of fun stuff! The the first photo is when all of us drove over to Cullen Bay and had Seafood On Cullen which was an all you can eat buffet that was mouth watering on food selection and it was all good! A few days later we went to Crocosauruse Cove in Darwin and had a reptile show and saw sipping crocs! One of them was from the original Crocodile Dundee! Since we arrived at Litchfield National Park, we went to Florence Falls, Bluey Rock Hole and to a termite mound! The next day we went on a walk called Green Ant and it took us to a wonderful falls called tuteajba I think. Later that day we went on a 1.7km walk in the 34 degree sun to Upper Cascades. The lower cascades were closed due to crocodiles. We Had a swim through the cascades and then walked 70 odd metres to Curtain falls! That was cool. Again, we went to another falls called Wangi Falls. It was one of the biggest falls we had gone to yet. We are now headi by back to Darwin as we have so much time to spare!
What a wonderful day today had been! We started the day at the Original Jumping Crocodile Cruise and had a amazing experience and saw some big crocs! Then we drove down to Berry Springs and it was like heaven! It was so good we spent 2 hours just swimming through the picturesque water! For the rest of the day? We just relaxed and spent time with each other!
For the past three days we’ve stayed at Katherine N.T! We stayed at Boab Caravan Park south east Katherine and we had green grass again!! On the second day, we went on a 8k return walk at Edith Falls and had a great time there ( especially swimming because of the humidity )! The photo that’s shown is very cloudy but the clouds clears out leaving beautiful blue skies. On the third day, we went on a boat tour through Katherine Gorge and it was such a giant and magnificent Gorge! Today we left Katherine and are now in Darwin! We will keep up to date with Darwin in the next 2 days 😊!
The wonderful day we’ve had walking, hiking, and swimming! The places we went to today ( in order ) were Ellery Creek Big Hole, Serpentine Gorge, Glen Halen Gorge, Redbank Gorge, Ormiston Gorge, Mt Sonder Lookout, and back to Ellery Creek Big Hole for the swim! We also did some walks yesterday but only two because the weather was grey and drizzly. They were Simpsons Gap and Standley Chasm.
We’ve had a wonderful day hiking and to end the day Jordan ( Me ) and Mark went for a dip in some freezing water but I thought it was great, dad… not so much. I’ll add some more photos in a minute!
We just had our visit at the one and only Uluṟu! It was a beutiful sight and it it huge in person! We will be having a walk around Uluṟu and will try to let you know about tomorrow!
We have had a rather busy past few days firstly stopping at Port Pirie for one night, then Port Lincoln for two nights and shark diving ( No sharks 🥲 ), then at a football club at Whyalla which had an army ship from 1942. The next day we stayed at Woomera which had the rockets, and now we are at Coober Pedy and will be doing a tour tomorrow!
Yesterday we arrived at Robe, it was quite windy but it was a wonderful town with a beautiful beach! This morning, there was a lovely sunrise to start the day!
