To me, watching a documentary on a band or musician is not only educational, but inspirational. My writing as of late has been heavily inspired by such an amazing film, Brian Wilson: Long Promised Road. A must-watch for fans of Brian Wilson and The Beach Boys. The Beach Boys, especially Brian Wilson, have always been a huge reason I play music but more importantly why I WRITE music. He definitely set the bar HIGH! Although I will never reach that bar (nor will anyone ever as far as I’m concerned) I’ll never stop trying!
