Lawnmowers are out of gas
Our adopted guineas are enjoying the company of our chickens after being chased off by the guineas we hatched. They finally discovered the woods.
New machinery inspectors
I forgot to introduce Zippy! He's sporting a black vest. Zippy is very cuddly.
Moved the chickens closer to the woods a couple of weeks ago. I think they have forgiven me and are enjoying the coolness of the woods.
Apparently the middle nesting box is the hot commodity. There is a line at the door also.

Apple trees made it through the winter. The deer were kind enough to prune them for me.

Planted Ichelium garlic with some asters for next summer.
What poison ivy 🫠? Working on smothering a lot of poison ivy. We debated many options but are trying some hot composting and depriving the nasty bu**er of sun light.
Gathered berries from the spicebush and rose hips for some homemade tea.
