My birthday was EXACTLY what I prayed for.⁣
I told God what I wanted to feel, see, and even who I wanted to be with, & that’s what I experienced. ⁣
I got to spend my birthday with my family! 🥹⁣
Man, the more I mature I understand what’s important and what’s not, & have no problem saying it! ⁣

Life has not been easy on me. I think back to just 7 years ago when I wanted it all to stop and leave here altogether. God has kept my mind. He has kept my heart soft, when I’ve had every right to hardened it and be mad at the world & everyone who’s hurt me. I honestly know I’m ONLY here because of the Grace & Mercy of God and the beautiful souls He brought into my life. ⁣
I’m thankful! ⁣
So when folks say “Naomi don’t go out no more”⁣
“I never see you anywhere”⁣
It’s because I’m NOT interested in going back into what I came out of. I diiiiid all of that already! ⁣
None of it is fulfilling. ⁣
I found what my heart was searching for. ⁣

Yesterday made it 6 years that you’ve been gone, and honestly time hasn’t made it easier. Over the years I would hear folks say “Time heals all wounds” ….that simply isn’t true! ⁣
The pain just changes over time. God has been filling my “daddy void” in my heart. It’s HIS love that’s healing the wound. I’m so thankful! ⁣

I promise to keep smiling, standing up for myself, showing up, tellin the truth, and loving hard.
