On behalf of his wife, family, friends, and loved ones, it’s with an absolutely broken heart we share the passing of Nate Smith, or “Nasty Nate” as many people knew him.

After a private battle with an aggressive cancer, Nate left us peacefully last night with his wife Melissa at his side.

We are all devastated by such an untimely loss, but thankful he is finally at peace after a difficult fight with an unrelenting opponent.

This is being shared to honor the amazing man that Nate is and always will be, and for all the people he touched with his willingness to accept anyone and everyone as a friend.

He will be dearly missed.

A celebration of life will be planned, but no additional details are being shared at this time as we all grieve this incredible loss.

Please play a song in his memory, preferably something heavy and loud, and remember the guy who always wore his hat pulled down low with a sly grin on his face.

Above all.. just remember him.
