‘8borders 8days’ helps give a voice to Syrian refugees seeking safety worldwide “8borders 8days,” a documentary directed and produced by Amanda Bailly filmed in 2015, follows Syrian refugee Sham, a fierce single mother to a young daughter and son, who escapes from Syria and travels all the way to Germany, passing through countries such as Greece and Hungary.

Did you know that today is the UN Universal Children’s Day? 58 years ago today the UN adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Child! Our NLG chapter focuses on preventing a "lost generation" of refugee children by raising awareness and funds.
