What a lovely day we had yesterday so very grateful for the support we received. It was great to see so many people and how everyone remembered Mags so fondly. Thank you to Morag Munro for coming along to say a few words and to all who made it such a success. Keep your 👀 peeled for our next event.

Bays Community Centre
20th Anniversary Tea Party
Saturday 27th April - 12-3pm

We are celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Bays Community centre and we thought a tea party would be the most fitting in memory of our Mags, she did love a tea party!

Over the coming years we will be doing fund raising events for a new heating system for the Bay Community Centre so donations will be very welcome to kick start this fund.

We look forward to seeing you soon.

As a Committee and Community we were sadden this week to hear of the passing of Roddy 'Ruagan' MacLeod.
Ruagan was a long time supporter of the Bays and up until a couple of years ago danced many a night away with us, he taught many of our young people the traditional and some of the less traditional ceilidh dances which is a dying skill.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Jill , Catriona and Kevin and their families, also with all Ruagans family in Harris Dolly Cathy , Roddy and the extended family.
Another legend gone but, as I ve said a lot since last October , we are forever grateful for all the photos which mean these people will never be forgotten ❤️
