Was craving some mexican last night so whipped up some pico de gallo to have with my doritos!

Here's how you can make it:

What you need-
2 tomatoes
1 red onion
Salt
1 large chili
Coriander
Lemon juice

Method-
1. Roast the tomatoes over a stove top or in the oven till the skin blackens.
2. Remove the skin off the tomatoes and cut finely.
3. Cut the onion and chili and coriander (use jalapenos if you have them) finely.
4. Mix the tomatoes, onions, chilis and coriander together
5. Add salt and lemon juice as per taste.

*add more chillies if you like it spicy

What you need:

2 cups soaked and boiled chickpeas.
1/4 of a big beetroot
4 cloves of garlic
1teaspoon of lemon juice
Salt as required

Method:

1. Soak the chickpeas for 8 hours, and cook them in the pressure cooker till they are soft.
2. Boil the beetroot in a rice cooker or over a stove till it is soft and a knife goes through easily.
3. Once cooked add all the ingredients to mixer and mix till it forms a thick paste. Add one tablespoon of the water used to boil the chickpeas.

Masala idli / idli chaat
Ingredients:
1. Rava (Semolina)
2. Curd
3. Mustard seeds
4. Chana daal
5. Udid daal
6. Basil leaves

Recipe:
1. Mix one cup of rava with one cup of curd. Add some sugar and let the mixture ferment for half an hour.
2. Roast the mustard seeds, udid daal and basil leaves and add this to the batter. Mix a tea spoon of baking soda and some water to obtain the right consistency.
3. Put your batter in the idli maker for 10-15 minutes. Take the idlis out and cut them into four pieces.
4. In a pan, roast some more mustard seeds with both the daals. Add haldi, garam masala and red chilly powder and then toss the idlis in the pan until theyโ€™re all done.

Have your idlis with some chutney and podi or you can try having it like chaat (with some curd, green chutney and imli chutney)!

Who doesn't love a little coffee in their dessert? age old family recipe for this Brazillian Coffee Custard is to die for!

Ingredients:
1 tin milkmaid (not too chilled)
150 GM's fresh cream
2 tsp instant coffee (dilute it in water before adding)
1 pack gelatin

Recipe:
Pour milkmaid, beat till it's light and fluffy. Melt gelatin in double boiler. Dissolve coffee in 1 TSP of water, now add fresh cream to milkmaid and coffee according to your liking. Continue beating. Add dissolved gelatin and freeze.

Tired of eating eggs for breakfast every morning? We found a quick, easy and really delicious pancake recipe! It goes really well with some peanut butter and your own choice of fruits ๐Ÿฅž

Recipe:
1. Mix one a half cup of milk with a tablespoon of lemon juice and set it aside
2. Whisk together one and half cup of flour with a tablespoon of baking power, 3 spoonfuls of sugar and a pinch of salt.
3. Beat two eggs and mix them with the milk.
4. Transfer the milk to the bowl of flour and mix it well to ensure there are no lumps.
5. Put a ladle full of the pancake mix on the pan and let it cook.
Your pancakes are ready!
Top them with some chocolate syrup, whipped cream and fruits.
Or just keep it simple with some maple syrup and bananas ๐Ÿ
( Serves 6-7 pancakes)
