Bhabna : The wall magazine is an initiative taken by the thinking students of JUSL. Submissions from each and every students of Jadavpur University Salt Lake Campus students are welcome. The intention of this initiative is to give a platform to the scores of voices and talents that remain hidden under drawing sheets and assignments. Maybe a poem ? Or an old-school slogan ? মধ্যমগ্রাম...
রাজনৈতিক দল গুলোর শকুনের হাল হয়েছে...
হ্যাপি নিউ ইয়ার বন্ধুরা । চিয়ার্স...
মদ-মাংস-লুঙ্গি ডান্স-পার্কস্ট্রিট আর চাঁদের পাহাড়ে নতুন বছরটা কাটাবেন ভেবেছিলেন ? তার মাঝেই ঢুকে পড়লো মধ্যমগ্রাম । ইস । মিছিলে,কান্নায়,লাশের গন্ধে নতুন বছরটায় চুনা হয়ে গেল ??
লাশের গন্ধে মো মো করছে বাতাসটা । গন্ধ ছাড়বেই না কেন বলুন, মারা যাওয়ার পর ২৪ ঘণ্টা কেটে যেতে চলেছে । ‘লাল’ বাবুদের মিছিলে মরে গিয়েও হাঁটতে হবে মধ্যমগ্রাম কন্যাকে । টিভি চালিয়েছিলাম,বমি পেয়ে গেল শ্যামল থেকে বিমান মরা কান্না জুড়েছেন দেখে । যাদের নেতা বলেছিলেন ‘ধর্ষিতার চরিত্রে সমস্যা ছিল ।’ যারা মানসী মালিক বানিয়ে রাস্তায় রাস্তায় দেখিয়েছিলেন । মুকুল রায় আবার রাজনৈতিক অভিসন্ধির গন্ধ পাচ্ছেন । কামদুনিতে তারা যা করেছেন, রাজ্যবাসী সবটাই দেখেছে । বামফ্রন্ট ক্ষমতায় থাকবার সময় তাদের মৃতদেহ নিয়ে রাজনীতিও আমরা ভুলে যাইনি ।
রাজনৈতিক দল গুলোর শকুনের হাল হয়েছে...কোথাও কেউ মারা গেলেই তারা শকুনের মতো ছুটে যায় । শব নিয়ে মিছিল করে ।
নির্ভয়ার পর পশ্চিমবঙ্গে মানুষ পথে নেমেছিলেন । এলিটিজমে লেগেছিল বোধহয় । ড্রাইভার রেপ করলো । মধ্যমগ্রাম সেই অস্মিতায় আঘাত হানতে পারেনি কারন এখানে ধর্ষিতা হয়েছিলেন একজন ড্রাইভারের মেয়ে । হায়, একী ‘জাত্যাভিমান’ ।
এরপরেও চুপ করে থাকা
এরপরেও সংযমী সময়
এরপরেও পতপত পতাকা
এরপরেও দৃঢ় কনভয়
এরপরেও বিশ্বাস, প্রনতি
এরপরেও ঘুম আসবে চোখে
এরপরেও বাকী আছে ক্ষতি
এরপরেও ভোট দেবে লোকে
বন্ধু সকলের হাতে জ্বলে উঠুক মশাল... এ বড়ো সুখের সময় নয়...

'BHABNA' our campus wall magazine. Its a platform where we express our ideas through poetry, pictures and discussions on current social and campus issues...
we are planning to release an edition of this 'BHABNA' before Mahalaya (15th oct 2012)..
so all interested students are requested to submit their writing/pictures by 06/10/12.
