🦷🪥Full Time Dental Assistant Needed 🪥🦷
(Monday-Thursday)

We are looking for an experienced dental assistant who would like to be part of a great dental team. You’ll ensure excellent patient care and use your skills to help provide efficient, high quality dental care.

Dental assistants should be well organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office policies.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Greet and es**rt patients
Prepare for treatment, ensuring patient comfort
Select and set up proper instruments, equipment and
materials needed
Maintain a high standard of infection control
Take impressions
Pour and trim models
Fabricate temporary crowns
Familiarity with digital impressions
Proficient at 4 handed dentistry
Maintain accurate patient records

Knowledge of Dentrix practice management software and Dexis (digital radiology)

Candidates with dental experience, a valid radiology license and CPR certified is preferred.

Meet the team!!!

Bethany started at Petal Family Dentistry in 2019 as the scheduling coordinator and did not have any dental 🦷 knowledge. She has since then worked her way up to the Manager of the office (organized chaos coordinator)🤪

She does so much more than just office work and keeping Dr. Harrell and Dr. Braswell in line though- she is the t-shirt designer👚, advice giver and the one that keeps everyone on their toes and in line.

Even though she is terrified of Ostriches and can NOT stand anything sticky - she is not afraid to get her hands dirty and take care of anything that needs to be done (including fixing a toliet 🚽 with Cassidy)

Bethany has been married to Kendall since 2008 and have two children, Sarah Grace and Kayden.
You can always find her watching her kids play softball 🥎 and baseball ⚾️ (probably hear her first🫣), traveling, hunting and working in the yard.

We would be totally lost without Momma B!!

📢📢 We are so excited for Cassidy getting accepted into Nursing School and starting in the Fall!! 🩺🩹
So that means we are looking for someone to fill her shoes and work with the best people in Petal! 🤩

Everyone meet Madison!

You might not know she is there because she is quiet but she started at Petal Family Dentistry right at a year ago and has done an AMAZING job up front! She is always willing to do anything to help anyone and never complains!

She graduated from Pearl River Community College Dental Assisting program in 2019 but has since found that she enjoys working up front helping patients with scheduling appointments and anything insurance related.

Madison has been married to Tyler since 2020 and they have the cutest little girl Riley Kate! 🥰 They enjoy going out on the boat 🚤 , hanging out with friends and doing things as a family! 👨‍👩‍👧

Fun fact!!!!! 🧐🧐 Madison has a TWIN sister! 🤩

If you don’t have a Lori in your life you need to get one! (you just can’t have ours) 😜

Don’t let her fear of 🐊 alligators and only being able to drink 🥛 milk out of a clear cup fool you- she is one you call if you need the most honest opinion 🤣 or need help with anything!

You will always have a GREAT time if you hang out with her because she is the life of the party!

Lori grew up on the coast and graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She has been a hygienist with Petal Family Dentistry since 2000. 🦷
She has been married 28 years to Shane and has two sons, Christian and Ryan.

In her free time, she enjoys camping with family and friends, going out on the boat 🚤 and trail riding on horseback 🐴.

⭐️ ⭐️ Lori’s advice to others is: Life is short- don’t spend your time whining! Just Keep Smiling!😊

Cassidy graduated from Pearl River Community College Dental Assisting program in 2019 and started at Petal Family Dentistry soon after that where she has become the entertainer of the office. 🤣🤣
She is married to Jake and they have a little boy named Clayton, who keeps her running. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling ✈️ and loves to go fishing 🐠(only because she thinks she can out fish everyone).

One thing she likes about working at Petal Family Dentistry?
My co-workers are da bomb 💣 and we have the best patients!!

As soon as you walk in the door - you will always find Amanda ready to greet you with a smile! 😁

She has been a part of Petal Family Dentistry since 2020. For someone who has never worked in the dental
field she has jumped right in by helping patients get scheduled for cleaning/check ups to now learning how to verify and explain insurance benefits for treatment.

Amanda is very family oriented and loves spending time with her husband, Steven, and their two daughters, Emma and Madeline. She is a member of Petal First Baptist Church and enjoys helping in the children’s ministry.
In her spare time she loves to go to all things Southern Miss! 🦅💛🖤 hanging out the beach 🏝️ and spending time with her girls!

Favorite thing about working at Petal Family Dentistry? The family I have gained-Not just with co-workers but our patients. 🤗
