The most urbane Aspirant of the IFE EAST state Constituency under the flagship of the APC has forwarded an heartwarming congratulatory message to the Governor-elect of Ekiti state at the recently concluded polls. This he made in a statement issued in his campaign office on the election aftermath.

"I join hands with the President and
Commander -in- Chief of the Armed Forces of
the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari in expressing my heartfelt congratulations the incoming Governor of Ekiti state Dr. John Kayode Fayemi for his victory at the just concluded polls".

The significance of this mind blowing victory is beyond imagination and will go a long way to emphasize that the days of political bullying, power abuse, nollywood comic acts of sympathy scripted to deceive the electorates are over and no one can take the peoples will for a ride.
I am particularly excited that Ekiti people demonstrated to the world that they
are politically sophisticated in standing solidly by their decision to move onwards from
the old retrogressive political order, much credits goes to the
old and young who have refused to sell the destiny of future generations to those
who over the years have held them to ransome overcoming all
the trappings of segregation despite all attempts by the forces of evil utilizing all evil plots of killer herdsmen to try and sway our politics to the leftist.

This turn of events could not have come at a better time as Ekiti State is long overdue for a new direction in equitable distribution, fair and appropriate utilization of power and state resources as some parts
of the state lack
infrastructure development and have suffered from
marginalization.

In further remarks, he saluted Ekiti people for their unwavering resilience and indefatigable solidarity stance against every odd and forces to ensure that their collective voice is heard.The Ekiti people have spoken and spoken loud and clear, he said and as the latin maxim goes thus " Vox Populi, Vox Dei !" . The voice of the people is the voice of God .
The voice echoed all over Ekiti state and will surely reverberate all over Nigeria.

Whilst stating that eventuality of elections like sports is the inevitable emergence of a winner, he therefore urged the Governor-elect to however remain magnanimous in victory and transcend this historical landmark of Ekiti democracy to an all encompassing governance

I use this medium to call on the Governor-elect to see this mass solidarity as a moral burden on him to unite
and galvanize Ekiti state and her people, spread development across the state and
avoid the pitfalls of the past leadership
underminding the ordinary people.
