How I feel today....between everything that's happened lately working out is my stress relief. I don't have to think about, I can just concentrate on me. Scheduling my workouts have been hard lately due to new schedule, work, and other things but I will and MUST find the time.

So far this year hasn't been great but I'm not about to let it get me down. I'm going to keep going. I've learned a lot but I've also learned what doesn't break me makes me stronger. I've been absent due to dealing with some personal stuff but I'm back and ready to go full force. Who's with me to make it the greatest year.

People often think a cheat meal is a bad thing...it's not. Often when I have a cheat day my tendencies often lean towards eating healthier because my body is used to it. I crave fruits and veggies even on my chest days...that doesn't mean every once in awhile I'll have some fries but in moderation.

When I started my fitness journey I thought it would get in the way but it only improved my life. Now I look forward every day to working out, it's ME time. It helps clear my head for the day, it improves my energy, and it makes me stronger. 💪

The mornings are cold when I wake up and I just want to stay in bed and snuggle with my fur babies. But I get up and get my butt moving. I hate leaving my warm bed but when I finish my workout, I love that satisfied feeling.

People always say diet...I say nutrition! Eating healthy is not dieting, it's a out understanding what your body needs and nourishing it the right way with healthy foods. I keep track of my calories but not to diet but to understand what I am eating on a daily basis. Eat healthy...don't diet!

Yes exercise is important but nutrition is more important. What you eat on a daily basis nourishes your body..it helps refuel after a hard workout, it helps balance out the nutrients needed in your body, and it raises your metabolism.

A little motivation humor today. Other people tend to give up on their fitness and health goals after a couple weeks...is your health not important to you? Then I guess bathing isnt either....lol. Don't give up! Motivate yourself daily and shower daily! 😁 😂

Some people are highly motivated by how hard it can be....I am definitely one of those people. The soreness, the tiredness but when I slowly see results every week....it makes it all worth it in the end. What doesn't make you stronger makes you weaker. It it's not hard, it wouldn't make you stronger. 💪

I learned a lot about myself during my challenges.....how disciplined can I be, how can I motivate myself, how can I keep pushing myself? I learned to discipline my mind and my body, I don't want to get up and go to kickboxing but I do 5 times a week bc I committed to it, I push myself to hit about 12,000 active calories a day. Develop yourself....discipline yourself, motivate yourself, and most of all push yourself to do better. 🏋🏾

There are days I don't want to get up and work out...there are days I want to stay in bed. But I remember why I am doing this...for ME! To be the better version of myself. Those days are when I feel the most successful after I workout...that feeling of accomplishment when I didn't want to start in the first place. ❤️

One of my struggles with my eating has been junk food. I gave up junk food and fast food on my last challenge and am doing the same this time. It's a challenge but I realize I am poisoning my body by feeding it junk, artificial food that my body can't process.
