I’ve had the pleasure to see this beautiful work of Michele’s in person. The pages are embroidered small “quilts” that are stitched on paper and cloth representing her sacred space- the woods where she walked daily and knows intimately.

I am thoroughly enjoying this book. “The Creative Act: A Way of Being” by Rick Rubin, is a guide for creatives on how to open up our way of being in the world and how to find your own creative voice. Here’s a snippet…

And I say “Hokie Smoke Bullwinkle, it’s been a long minute”! Sorry I’ve been lax in posting some new work and news, but I have taken my love of making to the beautiful city of Columbus, IN! Ok, like it’s been a year already but I’m settled in nicely, I have acquired a space to work and I am absolutely loving the direction of my work and life. I also helps to be in such an inspiring city for all things art. Anyway, hope you stick around for awhile…always with love, Cheryl
Don't you just love the color! Thank you Weeping Willow Photography.
Aren't these rings so cute! I always like the idea of non traditional and unique elements in a wedding. I like the idea of non diamond rings. Thanks for letting us borrow these beauties for the shoot!
