Hello. It’s been a minute. .

I’ve needed to divert my attention to tend to some personal things happening in our life but I’m still over here- - loving real food (and the occasional donut + taco 😉) but I’m hoping to get back to my space here in True Co; sharing new, fun recipes soon. .
Truthfully, I’ve also felt a transition in my own life and just trying to mesh it all together. So for now I’m devouring 2 fried eggs + half a sweet potato + watching Frosty The Snowman with my babies. 🍳🍠

I packed Raegan a fun, Halloween-ey lunch today with a monster sandwich and a sweet chocolate bark treat!
It’s raining here today so we’ll be handing out candy but avoiding the trick-or-treating tonight. We already got dressed up and did a trunk or treat at a fall festival this weekend so we got it in. What do you do for halloween?

I’m not packing lunches or rushing out the door to school this morning, as we’re home in Cincinnati for my sister’s wedding 👰🏻 ♥️, but this was one of Raegan’s favorite lunches so far this year.
DINO turkey sandwich + sea salt chickpeas + micronutrient pouch + a couple of ’s chocolate chip banana bread muffins from a batch I made + vitamins + apple slices. All packed up snug in her lunchbox. 🦕🌟
Hope you all got through the morning rush smooth and on time. I’ll be back to the normal craziness next week. 😆

Snack-y lunches are my favorite; especially when it looks like this! 😍
Made a baby salad with spinach, a hb egg, red onion + my coconut bacon! (find the recipe on our site, search COCONUT)👌🏼Drizzled some Champagne pear vinaigrette on the top. AND a plate of hummus + peppers + Sea salt crackers and of course, my absolute favorite Spicy pickles! 🙌🏼
I found these individual, organic hummus cups at and they are 💯🔥!!

Willing fall on with an oldie but a goodie tonight... my Cincy chili (clean-ish)! ♥️
I think I’ve also got this special dish on my brain because we hit the road to head home for Cincy in THREE days. 🙌🏼😍 I’m just a little excited.

This amazing chili is so simple, made in one pot and comes together in about 30 minutes. I used organic ground turkey and spices then poured it over my favorite gluten-free brown rice + quinoa pasta and some grass-fed sharp cheddar. Omg, y’all need to make this. 😋

If you order a lot of the specialty brands - from skincare, to vitamins, to food - then, YES. 90% of the products are much cheaper than even Kroger’s markdowns. If you’re looking to replace your grocery list, or even Costco items, I would say NO. My local Costco doesn’t carry a lot of specialty items - so Thrive wins every time on selection. If your Costco carries a lot of great health brands, their prices will beat Thrive. Thrive has pretty specialized products, so it’s not a replacement for your normal grocery list. ✨Do you Thrive? I have no idea where the day went.. I was for sure not venturing out in Houston traffic at 5 pm (🤯🤬) so I foraged the fridge for the last few veggies I have on hand and piled them on a crust ! We ended with a jalapeño, mushroom + green onion pie. Got the job done. 👌🏼💫 Now off to clean the play doh out of the avocado oil bottle....seriously. 😐😒🤪

I always feel the need to push my hair one extra day if I know I’m going to work out and get sweaty anyway first thing in the morning. So that last (extra) day, my hair is lookin ROUGH. Thought I’d throw on a mask to try and recover it a bit! This rebuilding mask is my jam and it’s got me feelin 💯 now. 😍💫

I’ve ruined mealtimes + moments together with family and friends by being ridiculously anxious over eating something that wouldn’t be considered “healthy”. I whole-heartedly regret those times I spoiled with loved ones. Thankfully though, I have learned from my mistakes. I’ve learned how to enjoy a sweet treat or special meal with peace and move on to what’s next.
Trey and I had the chillest afternoon date today; gluten, sugar and dairy included. ✌🏼

Happy Friday guys!
In my feelings with this perfect oil blend. 💫 Lately I’ve been very introspective; thinking on my life and what is next for me. My kids aren’t babies anymore but they’re not big kids either. I have things I enjoy and love very much; some I often get to do and some I don’t. I miss home but I’m grateful for where God has taken me. I have big, beautiful dreams of what I hope to get to do but not very sure how to get there. And some of it stems from feeling like I should have crossed a bigger threshold by this year of turning 30. The world casts this quota of “hurry up and matter” and 30 feels like a line in the sand. I should have done more, been more by now. But when I sit quietly I’m reminded of how wonderful life is and how grateful I must be. For all of it.. my husband, my kids, our health, my family, the sun shining, my whole life. In the midst of being so deeply inspecting of my life I will accept this new season. I will be insanely grateful. I will sit + be quiet more so that I can be reminded of the goodness and less focused on the doubts. 🖤

I don’t share my grocery trips very often mostly because, while I Iove seeing other people’s, I don’t think it’s always relative or helpful. Grocery shopping is sooo personal and just trying to replicate someone else’s cart isn’t going to bring you success in your own home. BUT I have also gotten inspiration and ideas for new meals or snacks from others sharing their shopping haul soooo here ya go... 🥑🍓🍞🥗

I’ve been feeling everything EXTRA simple in my meals lately. . Like this plain, purple-y taco salad. 💜
Huge bed of romaine + spinach + organic ground turkey (seasoned with cumin, chili powder, garlic, salt, lime, cayenne + black pepper) + purple cabbage + lots of avocado diced! Squeeze a lime over top + serve with a fresh salsa .👌🏼💃🏻

So simple. So easy. So delicious. Taco salad is definitely one of my favorite summer go-to’s.
