Coming into the new year means we are finding new ways to cope. Therapy is an awesome source of help to help with that and should not be something to be scared of.
Merry Christmas everyone! Celebrate Jesus today with your loved ones and remember to celebrate yourself for making it to another holiday safely.
It is okay to be selfish sometimes. I'm sure Santa will understand!
Freedom Friday! A step in creating a safe space around you is setting boundaries for yourself and to those around you. Find the mental freedom you’ve been looking for by setting your boundaries and sticking to them.
A safe space isn’t just a place, but people as well. Find those who feel like home and stick with them.
Maintain a sound mind by maintaining a safe space.
Knowing your worth is a key skill that is a necessity for growth. Once you dig down and find it, add tax and do not let anyone treat you less than.
If it is something you don't stand for, then why are you still sitting at the table? Sometimes, it is hard to leave situations that you have attachments to. This is when we step back and reevaluate how healthy the situation is in order to make our next move that is more beneficial to our mental health and wealth.
Learn to leave the table when you are no longer being treated like you know you deserve to be. Learn your self worth and don't let anyone treat you feel less than that.

During the daily grind, we sometimes have our struggles. Sometimes, amid those challenges we face, a friend reaches for help. How can I help them? I am dealing with my issues today. We ask God for guidance, and he reminds us to show kindness. When we respond with kindness and help, no matter our circumstances or emotions, we soon forget about what we were concerned about because we were able to brighten someone else day, and in return, our day is better as well.
Thank you to some friends of mine for joining me in a lovely post work dinner. We had such a great time connecting with our field of psychiatry and wellness.

Hello everyone! We have made it to Friday! It is time to relax and unwind from a week of working hard. Find a way to reward yourself this weekend and show yourself some love! Remember not to be a bully to your mind, be a fix it.
Self-Care is the key to self love. Make sure you take a step back to reflect on yourself and ways to go about self care activities that are fit for your growth and healing.
Happy Monday! I had a great time with colleagues at our retreat. This was a time to take a step back to relax, learn, enjoy and have fun.
During this week or month take time to take a step back to take care of your mind and body. Doing this reduces stress, and you feel more rested, productive, and attentive when you return to work. When you engage with others, you experience social connectedness and create a positive effect.
