Immune system = Defense function: We are all familiar with how the immune system goes into action to protect us against invaders like bacteria and viruses. We see its effects in itchy throats, runny noses and watery eyes.
Immune system = Overall health: What many people don’t know – and what a new review article from experts collaborating with Bayer highlights – are the important ways the immune system serves not just as a defense against sickness, but as an active player in maintaining overall health to achieve equilibrium in a body’s systems.
That’s why daily self-care — including proper nutrition and supplements, regular exercise, body weight management, healthy sleeping and mental wellbeing — is key to supporting our immune system’s diverse functions.

🌱 Did you know that by 2050, climate change is projected to reduce a farmer's harvest by 17% and available arable land by up to 20%? is addressing these challenges using innovation that puts sustainability at the core.
This is why we're investing in : our breakthrough innovation approach to crop protection chemistry. CropKey harnesses the power of to identify specific target proteins more rapidly and accurately in pest species. AI then allows us to find and design entirely new crop protection molecules that effectively, safely, and sustainably combat crop-destroying pests.
With CropKey, we're empowering farmers with tools to protect their crops for a more resilient future. 🌾
🔬With the surge in chronic diseases and life expectancy, the demand for medical imaging is at an all-time high, placing immense pressure on radiologists. Yet, innovative technological solutions like Artificial Intelligence ( ) offer a promising path to more efficient workflows.

We often share how we’re helping farmers improve their yields and farm more sustainably. But we’re also working to care for their health. One example is our Better Life Farming Centers in Indonesia, where farmers and their families receive education on health, family planning, nutrition and essential care. 🌾❤️ And we’re starting to roll this out into other rural communities.

🔬 We are at the forefront of a groundbreaking new era where the intersection of science and technology is driving remarkable advancements in life sciences. Our team's expertise in biology, chemistry, data science, and artificial intelligence is boosting our R&D efforts. The result? We're on the fast track to discovering groundbreaking medicines to serve our patients better.
Together with our partners, we're redefining clinical trials to be safer and more efficient than ever. Thanks to high-quality medical data and the power of AI, we're identifying the right candidates for trials, reducing risks, and securing better results.
And there's more! We're leveraging AI in medical coding to process extensive case reports, backed by expert validation of each AI-generated result. Since 2017, this approach has accelerated clinical trials by an astonishing 170,000 hours, equivalent to over 19 years of manual work!
Do you know who helps treating physicians in making informed decisions about their patients? By reading medical images, radiologists can support with a timely and accurate diagnosis. But they face immense pressure: sometimes radiologists have only a few seconds to analyze a new image to keep up with the increasing workload. One of the consequences is increased burnout.

Corn, wheat, and rice require nitrogen fertilizer to grow. That’s because the microbes that live on their roots can’t convert the nitrogen in the air into an absorbable form for plants. Plants like soy have microbes that can do just that. What if we could give other roots this ability? It would save farmers time and money, and it would save our planet valuable resources.
That’s the future of agriculture, and Bayer is already partnering with Joyn Bio to make it a reality.
We’re designing microbes to help plants like corn, wheat and rice fix environmental nitrogen, rather than rely on synthetic inputs. This is an important innovation in our vision of regenerative agriculture.
In the last 4 years, we helped 13+ million women and their babies to have healthier pregnancies and healthier babies with our partners Vitamin Angels, through our Nutrient Gap Initiative.

Far too many women in low and middle-income countries who want to avoid pregnancy don't use safe and effective family planning methods. But easy access to contraceptives means more than just being able to take control of family planning - it also empowers girls and women to have self-determined lives.
This is why one of Bayer's sustainability goals is to improve access to contraceptives for 100 million women by 2030. So far, we´ve reached 46 million 💪
A healthy future begins with moms experiencing healthy pregnancies and girls starting off strong. But right now, over 1 billion adolescent girls and women are suffering from undernutrition, making it difficult for them to do well in school and at work.

In the past four years, our efforts have had a positive effect on over 13 million women and their babies, leading to healthier pregnancies and births. By 2030, millions of lives will have changed for the better! 🌟
