AUDITIONS FOR THE EAST HADDAM STAGE COMPANY’S
ORIGINAL PRODUCTION OF PLAYS and POETRY

Please prepare a monologue of your choice, and bring your resume. There will be cold readings of poems and from play scripts at the audition.

Plays and Poetry is a 90-minute production that consists of nationally submitted 10 minute plays along with poetry by CT poets, all performed by the cast.

We are looking for experienced non-union actors, men and women, ages 18 to 60 for a cast of 4 to 5. Actors will play multiple characters in up to 6 plays and 20 poems.

Rehearsals begin Tuesday Oct 12th and will be scheduled based on actors’ availability. Production runs for 6 performances Thurs – Sat, November 4-6 and 11-13, 2010 at 8:00pm (no matinees). Auditions, rehearsals and performances will be at the East Haddam Historical Society, 264 Town Street, East Haddam CT Stipend paid for performances.
