Little update from our silence:
We have decided to work the rest of the seasonal season in glacier national park! Kayla is here too!
We will leave here first week of October, spend a little more time in Michigan, then trek back to Florida to Titusville to our boat! Do a bunch of repairs/upgrades through October and November, then leave for the Bahamas all winter!
Brianna took the most majestic epic photo of Scooby-doo I think I have ever seen!!
Robin is in Titusville Florida on the hard where it seems peaks of 27mph are currently scheduled.
Other parts of Florida are not so lucky. Ranging from 30-5ph gust, Hurricane Debby is set to become a hurricane right before making landfall on the west coast of Florida.
Sending good vibes to anyone in the way! Stay safe! Think about you and your animals safety over everything else! All objects are replaceable - yours LIVES are not!
Good luck! We are currently in St.Mary Montana, Glacier National Park, and having an amazing time! Funny enough yesterday the gust here were 27mh! But our Gulf Stream travel trailer is apparently rated for “hurricane weather” whatever that means. Sure was shaking a lot yesterday! Crazy enough BIG G got us to glacier just fine after clearing the 2nd set of engine codes in Mount Rushmore.
The gang is currently in Hardin Montana at a quick stop until we go again tomorrow!
This morning we rock climbed! We spent nearly 4 hours in the black hills rock climbing behind Mount Rushmore!
Tomorrow we make it to Glacier national park
Just spent the most money I’ve ever spent on a vehicle with this new GMC sierra 2500HD.
1100 miles into driving it the transfer case blows.
$3200 later and we are on our way.
I bought this car from Auto world of Muskegon from Chris Santo. He told me he would get in this truck and drive it to Florida tomorrow. Well here we are 1 week after buying it, hauling a 7000lb travel trailer from Michigan to Montana, and the transfer case blows. Gotta love used car salesmen.
Now our next problem is our cat Fred darted out of the travel trailer the minute we opened the door to leave to get our truck from the mechanic. So now we are stuck in Minnesota trying to find our f #*%ing cat!
One bad thing, lots of good things - our transmission on our brand new truck…
Robin is on the hard, ready for hurricane season!
See you in October - we love you very very much!
All of the boats leaving Grenada to avoid hurricane beryl!
For summer we purchased a Michigan sailboat!!!
We will be at cross winds marina in Whitehall lake! About a 4.5mile sail to Lake Michigan!
We will be mastering our sailing techniques with this vessel - it has a mainsail, a headsail, a staysail, and a spinnaker!!!! Along with autopilot!
The marina down in Titusville also just called us and informed us we can be put on the hard with hurricane straps starting July 1st! So we have bought tickets to Orlando on June 28th to head back down to our Robin and get her prepped to sit on the hard all summer long until we come back to go to the Bahamas!
More on that to come!
If you are in Michigan and want to sail - hit us up!
Goodbye for a month Robin.
We love you!
We will be back!
Michigan here we come!
