Amy Tucker Yoga
Yoga is for everyone, not just ‘young’ ‘fit’ or ‘flexible’ people! I am teaching Hatha yoga classes online, and in person, in the Dorset/Hampshire area.
I love sharing the amazing benefits of yoga with anyone who wants to learn, and I really look forward to supporting you on your own yoga journey. My classes can be booked here:

Please contact me on facebook or by email ([email protected]) for more information or to arrange a 1-1 class.
Our last class of the school year today was absolutely wonderful, many thanks to one of my lovely students for hosting us in her beautiful garden! It doesn’t get any better than yoga outside on a beautiful day like this😍☀️🙏🌹🌿🧘🏽♀️💜
Thankyou to all my lovely students who it’s been an honour and pleasure to teach all year. 🙏🫶❤️
Friday yoga is back this week! 🙌
Really looking forward to welcoming my lovely yogis back after summer break 💛
I’m excited to get into autumn themes🍁🍂but it’s still feeling so summery this week☀️
so we’ll be easing back into the term with plenty of warm ups, stretches & gentle flows to get the body moving and also pranayama to balance and relax the nervous system🙏
New students are always welcome and this term I’m offering your first class free if you’d like to come along to try it.☺️
Just email me if you’d like to come along:

Our summer term of yoga starts tomorrow (Friday 9th June) and runs for seven weeks until the end of term (Friday 21st July) 💫☀️
A seven week term is perfect for a journey through the Chakras, and it’s been a while since we’ve done this in class so it feels like the perfect time to revisit and hopefully deepen our knowledge and understanding of the ‘wheels of life’ (With input and inspiration from Anodea Judith’s book)
❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍
Looking forward to our next term of yoga and warming up into spring! 🌱🙏✨
This term runs from Friday 24th February to Friday 31st March. *Please note there will not be a class on Friday 17th March.
Class starts at 9am so perfect timing if you’re dropping the kids off at school😄
New students are always welcome! Please get in touch if you have any queries or would like to come along💛
Term bookings and Drop-ins available✨
Food heaven in Goa 💛
What an absolute treat get to eat out for every meal and to go to some absolutely beautiful restaurants serving delicious and healthy food. Some of our favourites were:
The laughing buddha
Although there’s no pics of typical Indian food here, there were plenty of delicious thalis, dosas and Goan curries eaten also😊🙏❤️
During my time in India I attended some morning Hatha yoga classes at this rooftop studio in Arambol - a light and breezy space, perfect for the hot weather and with a view of the tops of palm trees🌴
I love being the student, and that even after many years of practicing yoga you can still come across a new pose, or a new cue which can transform your experience of a pose you’ve practiced many times before. It really is a never ending journey☺️
It’s also wonderful to be able to pass these new teachings on to my students and hopefully help to enrich their experience of yoga too.
🙏
We will have four classes in the run up to Christmas..
25th November
2nd December
9th December
16th December
£35 for the four classes or £10 Drop in.
Please email me if you’d like to book.

Yoga this week ✨💜
Tomorrow is the Summer Solstice and also International Yoga day😄🙏🌞 snd I’m teaching two classes!🙌You can join me in the mat, or on the chair 😄
Let’s salute the sun together and embrace the energy of the longest day of the year.
Here’s this weeks timetable:
TUESDAY 939-1030 Hatha Yoga @ The Elm Tree
TUESDAY 11-12 Chair Yoga @ The Elm Tree
WEDNESDAY 7-8pm Yoga Online
FRIDAY 9-1030am Yoga Community Room Poulner Juniors.
(Booking link bio)
CHAIR YOGA💫🪑💜
Using a chair as a base for a yoga practice gives you support, and is ideal if for any reason, being down on a mat not accessible for you.
The chair can also offer extra support for standing poses and balances.
If you are keen to experience the amazing benefits of yoga but you:
-have difficulty getting down on to the floor
-have reduced mobility
-Have problems kneeling
-Use a wheelchair
-Have arthritis
-have balance issues
Then a chair yoga class might be perfect for you.
Chair yoga classes with me start on Tuesday 7th June at the Elm Tree in Hightown and I’d love to see you there!
Give me a message if you’d like more info or just to chat about it😄
✨NEW YOGA CLASSES starting on Tuesday 7th June
At The Elm Tree, Hightown, Ringwood. BH24 3DY
🧘🏻♂️930-1030am Hatha Yoga✨
🪑11-12 Chair Yoga✨
I’m excited to start classes in this beautiful space, and also really excited to start a chair yoga class!
Using a chair makes yoga much more accessible to anyone who may find it tricky to get up and down from a yoga mat,
and also might be for you if you:
-Have difficulty kneeling, reduced mobility
or Arthritis
-Are a wheelchair user
-Have any physical limitation which might make practicing on a mat difficult.
Everyone can build strength & flexibility, increase mobility and benefit from feeling more relaxed in both body and mind though yoga, and it doesn’t always have to be on a mat!

We did these salutations today in our Earth Day yoga.
Danda pranam is a full offering to the earth, to the divine. A bow to the life force 🙏🌎☀️🌱
‘Dandavat pranam’ in Sanskrit literally means ‘lying on the floor like a stick’
You lay on your front with your arms stretched forwards, palms together.
In this pose you can fully surrender and feel completely supported by the earth beneath you.
Join me this Friday for an Earth Day Yoga Class at The Elm Tree, 930-11am 🌎👣🍃🌳
I’m looking forward to trying out this lovely new space where I’m starting a new class soon.
This will be a relaxing and grounding class, connecting to the earth element, with a focus on hips, legs and feet👣
There is plenty of space to park in the car park
Half price class (£5)
Please email me to book: [email protected]
In this 90 minute Hatha yoga class we practice meditation, breathwork, asana (poses!) Sun and/or moon salutations and deep relaxation.
🌞🌝🧘🏽♀️🙏
Remember you don’t need to be flexible/strong/young..etc (fill the gap) to do yoga!
(But be warned, you may become a little more strong and flexible) 💪😜
But more importantly for me, it helps me to feel calmer and more connected to that inner spaciousness and peace inside.🙏
Yoga is inclusive in every way and I really do like to emphasise that anyone and everyone can do it.
We meet ourselves where we are, on the yoga mat. And who knows where it will take you! 💫
Your first class with me is free, so just message me if you’d like to book 😄
‘Look at a tree, a flower, a plant. Let your awareness rest upon it. How still they are, how deeply rooted in ‘just being’. Allow nature to teach you stillness. When you look at a tree and perceive its stillness, you become still yourself.’
Eckhart Tolle
I spent much time staring at flowers this weekend😁also has a couple of sea swims..still cold but soo refreshing!
Nature is medicine for the soul!
Swipe for my yoga timetable ~ new students always welcome. Your first class is free!💜
💛International Yoga day 💛
I’m so thankful for all that yoga has given me, and I continue to be a humble student on this journey of yoga. There will always be more to learn, and more to unlearn.
How fantastic it is that so many people are now doing yoga, and from a younger and younger age.
I believe this is what will change our world for the better.
More people able to cultivate inner peace translates to a more peaceful, loving and compassionate world for all.
It’s not hard to see why they chose the summer solstice as yoga day! 🙌☀️🧘🏽♀️
Even if it is raining today...May your inner light burn bright as the sun and may we all see the divine light within each other and all living things.
Om Shanti 🙏☀️💛
✨❤️💛🙏💚💙✨
Back from a blessed week of beach days in the sunshine, (got a bit burnt, oops) and family time, mostly spent with sand between the toes, and plenty of vitamin sea! 💙🌊
I swam (or dipped!) everyday, and although it’s blinking freezing and getting in isn’t easy, it’s just the best feeling, (especially once you’re out and dry!)
I hope everyone has enjoyed the past week with the sudden arrival of glorious summer. We seem to have skipped a season this year...🤔✨☀️but the warmth is so welcome now 🙏
Hello lovely people! Just a quick reminder that there are no yoga classes this week ~ we’ll be back to normal next Monday.
Hope everyone is enjoying this glorious bank holiday weekend and getting some time to relax, unwind and soak up some much needed sunshine!😀☀️💕🙏
Full moon thought for May..
How often do we lose sight of the ability to calmly contemplate the present moment? We are swinging back and forth between the past and the future, like the pendulum of an old grandfather clock, and we are only passing the present time. So, to experience this present, would we have to, if staying with this imagery, stop the pendulum? Even if it sounds strange, it is essentially tantamount to that. In those rare moments when we are completely in the “here and now”, our sense of time comes to a standstill. Time appears to stand still. Everything can become more still ...

~I’m a bit late uploading this but wanted to share my view of Wednesday’s full super moon, which looked so bright it reminded me of a sunset 🌕🧡
