Daily Press Ferguson Holiday Fund

The Holiday Fund began in 1929 with a mission to help the poorest Peninsula area families with gifts for children.

During the Great Depression, the fund broadened its focus to include fuel, food and clothing. In the years since, the fund has empha-sized helping needy families during the holidays and throughout the year.
