SENIOR SPOTLIGHT #3 is ELI MCCALL- he is our 152 lb athlete with 4 years of experience, 3 of those years on varsity. Eli is a multi-sport athlete and played on our varsity football team. After high school, Eli plans to attend ACU and major in pre-med. When he isn’t wrestling or playing football, he enjoys snowboarding, lifting weights, and driving. Eli's favorite high school memory was when the school “temporarily” shut down for two weeks and we ended up closing for much longer for quarantine. Eli would like to thank his mom and dad for their continued support. Good luck tonight and the rest of this season Eli. We’ll be cheering for you!

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT #2 is TRENTON KELLY- He is our 195 lb athlete with 10 years of wrestling experience. He is a district CHAMP and a STATE qualifier. 💪💪Trenton has been a multi-sport athlete: a member of the football team, wrestling team, and a youth coach. Although he is unsure of his plans after graduation, we are certain he will succeed at anything he does. If you know Trenton, you know that he is a natural leader! HIs hobbies include fishing and hanging out with friends. Trenton would like to thank his mom, dad and teammates and of course his brothers for always being there to cheer him on. We are excited for another great season for Trenton!

Alisah Kelly

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT #1 is COREY PUCKETT. Corey is our 182 lb. wrestler and has wrestled for 4 years (2 in Hawaii and 2 in Argyle.) His favorite song is Fortunate Son. Two of his wrestling accomplishments that he is proud of is the time he almost took down Trenton in practice 😃 AND he placed 1st in OIA wrestling while in Hawaii 🏅
After high school Corey plans to attend flight school through TCC and then go to UNT to finish up his degree in Aviation Logistics. He would like to thank his family, his cousins for talking him into joining the wrestling team his freshman year, and his TEAM!
Corey's hobbies outside of school are flying, playing the piano, and volunteering in the kids ministry at church. Best of luck to you this season and in the future Corey!

A late post about some end of the year excitement for our wrestling team! Two of our guys, Cullen Davee and Jax Ernest, were honored at the school board meeting for their state accomplishments and our team celebrated a great season! Big Thanks to Coach Morse, Peddy and Ringenberg for an awesome experience for our guys even with all of the Co-vid craziness!
