An overdue post to wish Bennet Haffner the very best as he goes off to college this fall! He's been skating with us since he was 6 - and we've watched him grow up before our eyes! Good luck, Bennet!

At this time, our last scheduled session for the 2023-2024 season will be March 24th. Unless we have at least 8 people committed to skate in April, it would probably benefit the club's finances to save the funds for next season.

Skaters! With the ice/snow and brutal cold weather in the forecast, it's probably best to cancel the session at the rink on Sunday Jan. 14th.

I've emailed the rink manager and will send out an email to everyone + texts for those whose numbers I have. Let me know if you have any questions!

A knee pad made of high-density foam that protects the side of the knee is recommended. The hard plastic knee pads used for rollerblading offer good protection to the wearer, but can pose a safety risk to other participants in the event of a collision. Volleyball knee pads work well.
