A bug in the security software of CrowdStrike is responsible for today's global IT outage.
The system to detect and stop cyber attacks in real-time, received a buggy update which crashed the windows systems. Companies and public authorities are affected, not private users.

The Israeli company Au10tix verifies the identity of people based on their ID cards for various large service providers such as Uber, TikTok, Fiver, LinkedIN, X and PayPal. In June, it became known that the login details of the administrator of the Au10tix server have been publicly available in a Telegram channel since March 2023. This made it possible for anyone to access the server and the identity documents of millions of people. This is a massive threat to the identity of many people and opens the door to identity theft.

File objection against MetaAI – Live Coverage – Nemeth/Star Productions This is the English text that can be used to file an objection against Meta using your posts, photos and image descriptions for Meta AI training.

Meta wants to use all posts, photos and captions from all profiles on Facebook, Instagram and threads to train Meta AI. Meta justifies this use without the explicit consent of users on the basis of legitimate interest. The good news is that anyone can object and thus prevent Meta from using their data in Meta AI.

1. select your country
2. enter the email address you use for your Facebook account
3. insert the following sample letter

In our experience, you will receive another e-mail within a few minutes confirming that your data will not be used for Meta AI.

Due to the past data leaks at Meta and the inseparability of my data from other data sets once they have been incorporated into an AI training model and the high probability that my data will be made available to third parties by an AI, I have the highest concerns about the security of my data.

I therefore expressly object to the use of my posts, photos and captions and those of my messages that are and have been sent to an AI to train the AI planned by Meta.
