I am sad to let everyone know that, our classmate and friend, Julie Anne (with an e) McKay has died of cancer. I have it from a good source that she "hated the term 'pass away' and that "anything referring to her death... just be 'she died'". How Julie McKay of her. I, for one, with never forget her feisty graduation speech in early June of '86. She will be missed. Our hearts and prayers go to her sister, Sharon and her mom, Susan. Services are being planned for January.

Classmates. Jack Allen passed away in late May. I know he was a favorite teacher/coach of many. Here is an update on a service being held in his honor from his daughters page: "Another update on my dad's Celebration Of Life is set for Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 3pm at The Elk's Club in Laramie. I will be posting his obituary within the next few days in the Laramie Boomerang and A small thing in the Casper Star Tribune."

Reunion weekend is in TWO weeks! The committee has been busy solidifying plans. Here is the agenda:
Thursday, July 7th: Parade Float decorating @ Tom & Karen's. Those who are in town, come on over at around 6:00 for pizza, beer and float decorating :). RSVP for directions out to the shop/house.
Friday, July 8th: 6:00 - 9:00 Hourdourves & Cash Bar at the Library Sports Grille & Brewery. Classmates, Old LHSers & Teachers, Friends & Family... we will gather in the "Plainsmen Room" upstairs at the Library. Also, you will be able to pick up your cool T-Shirt for the parade.
Saturday, July 9th: Jubilee Days Parade. Meet at the float (TBA) in the a.m. 4:00 p.m. Tour of the NEW LHS (close toed shoes suggested). 6:00 - 7:00 Cocktail Hour @ The Wildcatter in War Memorial Stadium. 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Dinner
PLEASE know that if you still haven't registered yet... it's not too late:)!!! Just let us know if you want to come for any or all of the weekend. We'd LOVE to see you there!

Hi all, If you plan on coming to the reunion and still haven't registered... now is the time. Of course, we have no REAL deadline, everyone is always invited up until the last minute... BUT the committee does need to start ordering t-shirts and other surprises for everyone SO an accurate count would be most helpful. Let me know if you have any questions about registering.

I just learned that Sean Kissack passed away on June 26. Services will be on Saturday, July 12 in Rapid City. Sean's obituary can be found here:
