Jeffrey Breslauer - Actor/Writer
I'm an Actor/Writer/Voice-Over Artist/Puppeteer.
Wishing for all of my family and friends who celebrate a very blessed, and Happy Hanukkah!!!
Five years ago I had dinner with my old friend and writing partner Robin Goret. I saw this on the wall of the tea and dessert place in Arcadia called, Vividay!! Couldn’t resist, but, wow; talk about false advertising!!!!
Tis the season for gift giving!!! Take a look at Henry Gray Publishing for wonderful gift ideas that you and your family and friends will love!!!

Eight years ago I was honored to attend a powerful and moving memorial service for Jack Larson. It was an evening spent with dear friends, and I’ll remember it always.
My very first actors headshot!! Yeah, I know, it's a portrait shot! But, back then, what the hell did I know?! This was taken in 1976. (And, no, I wasn't twelve at the time!!) 😉
In the late 1980s, I worked on an episode of "Still the Beaver". (Background work, so don't even bother to look for me!) The "Leave it to Beaver" cast was all grown up and still getting into trouble. The show was shot at Universal Studios, and this was before a lot of the renovation took place.
Anyway, I was behind one of the buildings, and I saw this line up of images that, to me, made a very funny picture. So I grabbed my 110 camera (that's all I had at the time), and got what you see here. In the foreground is Barbara Billingsley's car. Her license plate reads "No 1 MOM". Mid-ground is the neon Universal Studios logo. But in the background, you can see the Bates Motel (where Norman's mom lived)! The shot still tickles me after all this time. And Barbara was a sweetheart to talk to. (May she rest in peace!)
At a photographer friend’s memorial ceremony 2 years ago, I happened to see another friend of mine; Tatiana Davidov!!! Great seeing you!!!! I wish it was under better circumstances!!!
This picture was taken during a happier time, for me. March of 1959, I was 4 1/2 years old. Life, and everything else, was ahead of me! Including the play I wrote during the pandemic shutdown that starred, from left to right, my mother Hilda, my grandmother Celia, and my uncle Ralph!!
Eleven years ago at XCON in Myrtle Beach, SC, with good friend Neil Cole!!!!
Posing with my lovely sister Valerie, when we came out to Cape Cod not too long ago. I also finally got to meet my new niece and my new grand nephew!!
Outside of City Lights Bookstore, in San Francisco, 10 years ago!!! Was a wonderful day it was!!!
🎶”Operator… oh could you help me place this call?”🎶
From an old Hartford Insurance commercial I did MANY years ago!!!!
One of my dearest friends from Hofstra, Renee Van Engel Puchalsky, posted these pictures on Facebook 13 years ago!!!! Way before I became allergic to gravity!!!!
And my beard was a dark RED back then!!!! And we won’t talk about that suit!!!! That’s what we wore back in the mid-1970s!!!!
On the red carpet 10 years ago, celebrating BlasterCon!!!! I liked that look on me!!!!
My friend and fellow Dreamfinder, Steve Taylor posted this 8 years ago!! So, I HAD to share this, as well!! I’m figuring that having my little buddy Figment wishing all a Happy Thanksgiving is a good way to bring the holiday to a close… just in time for December!!!!
Taking a bit of time to wish two favorite women in my life a heartfelt happy birthday!!! One is, thankfully, still with us; the lovely Beverly Washburn!!! The other, is only with us in spirit, leaving behind an impressive body of work (but, best known to many of us as the original Lois Lane); the very much missed, Noel Neill!!! Today, Noel would have turned 103 years young!!!
The beautiful memories, and the love I have for both women will be with me, always!!!!
Showing off a painting that my good friend, Trevor Hawkins gave to me, a number of years ago. It’s an image of a screen capture of me in a scene with Rowlf The Dog in the Wonderful World of Disney episode; The Muppets At Walt Disney World!!!
Wishing everyone a very very happy, healthy, and safe Thanksgiving holiday!!!! And watch out for the Tryptophan rush!!!! CHEERS!!!!
Wishing all of my family and friends a very very SUPER Thanksgiving!!!! I’m figuring on covering three genres that a lot of my peeps would enjoy before I get to the serious one!!!
We (meaning me, Naomi, and her cousins Allan and Stephanie) had dinner at Oliver’s Restaurant on the Cape last night, and I got to spend time with my sister and one of my nephews!!!! Tim and Ieasha, you were both very much missed!!!!!
What can I say; it’s been a rough few months!!!! But, I’m still vertical!!!!
For this picture, we go back to 1995. In the lounge area at the Alhambra Dinner Theatre in Jacksonville, FL; during our first run of the comedy, "Breaking Legs". I'm seen here with my parents, Nathan and Hilda Breslauer, alongside our star, Frank Gorshin (TV's Riddler!!)
A headshot taken 7 years ago in Orlando, FL by my buddy, Peter Gould. Definitely a character shot!!! In fact, I’m toying with the idea of going back to this look. The hair would be the main issue. But, if I decide to cut off my ponytail, I think this look would be doable.
While this happened 7 years ago, I'm still a firm believer that cleaning up a house can be hazardous to your health!!! Here is my evidence...!!
Eight years ago at my old alma mater, Hofstra University. Here's what I found in the campus bookstore... I was so proud!!!!
Took part in a table reading for a new script a few years back. I’m really starting to miss the creativity and the family atmosphere!!!
From the George Bernard Shaw play On The Rocks. We did the play about 45 years ago (!!!!) at the Troupe Theater in Manhattan. I played a tough radical student who later cleans up and does a 180 degree turn, both physically and with regard to his political views.
This picture was taken 5 years ago when we went to Long Island.
Who knew that "black and white" cookies came in "manhole cover" size??!!?? At Dortoni's Bakery in Levittown, NY...
And as I sometimes say at the beginning of a new day; “Once again, for the first time ever!!!”
Great job by Special FX Makeup Wizard Jim Beinke!!!
My final scene makeup for Swamp Thing: The Television Show. Unfortunately, these closeups of my 200 year old character were only seen here.
If you saw the episode, the last shot of the story was the only time that I’m wearing this face; and the camera was set to a long shot. So you don’t get to see Jim’s amazing work in closeup. And these pictures don’t do the actual look of the old character justice!!!!
Sometimes, it's nice when you go home and reconnect with images from your past! When I went home to Levittown, 9 years ago, to take care of my mother, I found these pictures; a trio of me at 13 months old!! The first one, is my first version of "TA DAA!!"
This picture was taken 13 years ago at Coast Con in 2007. I'm in this shot with three people who are very dear to me. Noel Neill, the original Lois Lane; Larry Ward, Noel's friend, biographer and Manager; and Deborah Leblanc, a very talented Suspense and Horror author. That was a Coast Con I will never forget!!
This was taken 10 years ago at Meltdown Comics on Sunset, with TV and film icon, Barry Bostwick. He was promoting a fun project called "Diani and Devine Meet The Apocalypse." It was a treat seeing you, Barry! I hope that I see you again soon!!
Taken at my cousin Paul’s Bar Mitzvah in 1965 or ‘66. I’m the little guy on the left of center (People have told me that even without this picture as a reference!!!) By the way, this is my father’s side of the family. Definitely a blast from my past!!!!
I can certainly relate to this one!!!!!! 😉😴
In honor of Veterans Day, I would like to honor and acknowledge the three men in my family who served during WW2. All three were in the Navy. My birth father, Daniel Bader; my adopted father, Nathan Breslauer; and, my mother’s brother, my Uncle Ralph Projan. Thank you, for your service; and, for your parts in making me the person I am today.
HALLELUJAH!!!!!!
‘Nuff said!!!!
Enjoy your day, and have a wonderful rest of your week!!!!
