Today marks the start of the Robotics Summer and AI Camp, facilitated by 4th Dymension! Big thanks to the MCWEL ICT Unit for sponsoring the participants. Thanks to the Ministry of Education for allowing us to use the Montserrat Secondary School facilities. Over the next two weeks, the students will get hands-on experience in setting up the Raspberry Pi 3 microcomputer, and get an introduction to programming the Raspberry Pi. They will also learn how to use the Raspberry Pi along with AI software to create a teachable machine.
Look out for what they will create!

Registration has started for the Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Summer Camp, facilitated by 4th Dymension, in collaboration with MCWEL! The deadline for registration is August 5th, 2020.

At this camp, each student will get hands-on experience in setting up the Raspberry Pi 3 and get an introduction to programming the Raspberry Pi for real-world applications. Students will also learn about the concepts of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and work on projects using these concepts.

The camp will begin on the 10th of August and continue until the 21st of August. Each day will run from 8:00 am until 12 noon, Monday to Friday. There is no registration cost. The camp will take place at the J2 IT Lab, at the Montserrat Secondary School. Participants are asked to arrange their transportation to the venue, a bus will be provided for transportation after the sessions. Participants should be ages 12 - 18.

Our E-commerce Website Development Workshops have ended! Over the past week, we introduced the participants of our second group to e-commerce elements in website building. The results of the two weeks were impressive.

Today starts week two of the E-Commerce Website Development Workshop for our second group. The workshop is presented by the Ministry of Communications, Works, Energy, and Labour, and facilitated by 4th Dymension. In week one several topics were discussed, such as the importance of having a web presence as a business and what steps need to be taken in order to publish a website online. Participants were introduced to the Wordpress web development platform and were taught how to create and edit their own websites. In week two the E-Commerce aspect of Wordpress web development will be explored.

Today starts the first week of the E-Commerce Website Development Workshop for our second group of participants. Over the next two weeks, they will learn web development skills which will allow them to get a website online and implement e-commerce features.

The final week of the E-Commerce Website Development Workshop, presented by the Ministry of Communications, Works, Energy, and Labour, and facilitated by 4th Dymension has concluded. This week, we built on the basics we learned in the week prior and also explored how to implement various E-Commerce functions on our websites. Some concepts learned were structuring e-commerce pages, adding product listings and setting up payment platforms. Participants also learned how to categorize their products to set up specific product pages. We concluded by learning how to migrate our websites to different computers and how to import them to an online environment. We will be hosting a second group from February 17 to 28.

The Ministry of Communications, Works, Energy and Labour, presents to you a Website Development Course.

The course begins on January 27th through to the 7 February! That’s 2 weeks every day from 4:30pm -6pm at the HR training room Government headquarters.
