It was so much fun to reconnect with a friend and long time client. Charity was one of my models back in the day when I was learning how to use my camera. Naturally, I jumped at the chance to take some family portraits before her oldest set out on his own "life adventures."

When I first began shooting, it was in weddings. I've since moved on to portrait sessions, so this was kind of coming full circle for me. It was a gorgeous venue, Waterstone Estate, and an amazing couple. Really, they are both so lucky to have found each other. I was honored to be their photographer for the night.

Looking for some warm weather? Me too! I hear it’s on it’s way...but only after a few snow storms. 😧
This was my first pumpkin patch shoot, and I adore how the orange colors popped against the blue sky! (Somehow we lucked out that the one blue sky day of October was the day of this shoot!)
Of course, having an adorable little family to shoot made things easy too. And, a big shout out to Murphy's Farm for such a stunning location!

This winter was rather harsh . . . and long with that random snow storm in mid-April! It sent us searching for spring in a greenhouse! Thankfully, the lovely people at Alton Greenhouse let us in. (They have AMAZING plants and take such great pride in everything that they do. I know where I am going to purchase my spring plants!!)
And isn't this mom and her kids adorable? (I think the four-legged kid steals the attention though!)

It's hard to get into the chilly water--especially when your brother tells you about all the shark species "living" in Georgian Bay.😄
Finally getting around to editing some pics from our vacation last winter. (Shoemaker's children...)
This gorgeous baby wanted to catch all the action in her first photo shoot. Sleep was definitely not on her "to-do" list that day. But, with two older siblings, she better get used to lots of commotion.
Her big sister and brother are tickled pink with Baby L. Big Sis is sure to take good care of her while Big Bro will educate her about all the Avengers.
Of course Mom and Dad are thrilled with their newest addition to their beautiful family.

The stars aligned Easter weekend as we managed to squeeze in a quick shoot for Stefano's confirmation on the only sunny morning. His choice of location (a local skate park) combined with his sharp 3 piece suit and ease in front of the camera made my job easy.
Congratulations, Stefano! (And way to go, Stephanie for raising such an upstanding young man!)
