In April last year we sang at Penybont in support of the First Responders Voluntary Service covering the Llandrindod Wells area and spent some very pleasant time indeed at the Severn Arms that evening ! It is very sad to see that the Severn Arms has recently sustained fire damage as can be seen from these photos . We hope that they will soon be back in full swing once more.
We are all very upset to tell you that Disaster struck at the Severn Arms Yesterday afternoon, a fire starting from the biomass spread rapidly through the barns and the house.
Fortunately we are thankful that everyone is ok.
We are going to do are our best to get the pub back open and running as soon as possible.
Everyone at the Severn would like to thank the emergency services for there amazing rapid response, and all of the locals for their support.
