If you missed out on ordering a t-shirt or apparel item from our order last Fall, there will be an opportunity to purchase a shirt THIS MONDAY on 1/29 from 2:30pm-4pm. There will be a table set up outside the main nursing lab and 2 students will be running the table. Shirts are $20 and proceeds go toward Nursing Club. We have limited quantities and are first come first served. Last year our bulk apparel sold out within a few hours. Dont miss your chance! Thank you for helping our club!

Nursing Graduates Again Top State Average in Professional Licensing Exams | HVCC The 2023 graduating class from Hudson Valley Community College's Nursing program again ranked among the best in the state. More than 96 percent of Hudson Valley graduates passed the recent National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) for the first three quarters of 2023.

The Breast Cancer walk was a huge success this year, we had a great turnout and we’re able to contribute $1491 towards the fight against Breast Cancer!! I’d like to personally thank everybody that attended, and shared our team link to help raise awareness and seek contributions toward our goal! This was an amazing way to kick off our year!

Apparel information:

The link provided is a direct link to our apparel options for this year. The website provides a direct ordering system to our supplier, and your payment will go directly through to them. You will pay online for your order, and be the order will delivered to Nursing Club advisors approx 3-4 weeks after orders close. We will provide pick-information once the club receives and organizes all orders!

Orders are non-refundable and all proceeds will go toward Nursing Club!

The ordering link is open until next Thursday, 10/26/23 @11:59pm.

Please understand that the apparel company sets all rules/limitations, and that this is a strict tentative time for orders. When the website link is opened, all ordering guidelines are explained so please read through these to understand the process!

Our club will be purchasing some bulk items, but there will be no guarantee to get apparel this way.

This will be a first come first serve matter for select items at discretion of Nursing Club members and advisors.

The walk is held in Washington Park in Albany. The event opens at 10am, the walk begins at 12pm!!

Good evening everyone!
Our nursing club meeting for tomorrow 10/6 has been cancelled due to our remote learning week.
Our next meeting will be Monday, Oct 16th at 3pm in the main nursing lab will be catered (thanks to Mrs. Rodriguez!!).

Due to the unfortunate circumstances of us all being off campus this week, we realize there is a barrier to turning in the 2 forms needed to participate in the Breast Cancer walk!
The two forms needed are located under the 'Nursing Club' tab, under week 16 in your nursing tab on D2L.
They are titled: Driving Form-MVR
and The Breast Cancer Walk 1023

These two forms MUST be turned in prior going to the walk. Failure to fill out these forms will result in the walk not counting towards your service learning hours!!
There will be another announcement that follows this in regards to who/where/when to turn these in! In the mean time if you're able to print and sign these forms and have them ready to go that would be great!

Nursing 1 students: We realize campus is closed Monday! Please look for the follow up announcement for guidance!!
Nursing 3 students: We realize campus is closed Monday, and that we are off Tuesday/Wednesday due to SPE's. Thursday looks like the most ideal day to turn these in. Please keep an eye out for another announcement letting you know where/who to turn these into!
